I take
colpermin
and buscopan. I don’t know what else to do. I can go months with nothing and then have an extreme flare sometimes lasting up to 3 weeks. Can anyone relate?

How to end a flare up?
Also tried
colpermin
, buscopan, alverine citrate etc... came off all of those including the pill cause they weren't doing much and months passed and I became slowly better (without any diet changes, in fact I was feeling my best when I was eating whatever I wanted) and about 3 months ago I felt fairly

How do you take your peppermint oil?
I’ve started a course of
Colpermin
. Trouble I’m having is fitting in the three doses on an empty stomach and between paracetamol doses for arthritis in my spine and hips. Even fitting in two doses things are better but I would prefer the full whack.

Over the counter pain relief
I have tried
colpermin
, buscopan and silicolgel, and nothing is giving me relief. Has anyone found meds that help? I must admit I have some pills (mesalazine) left over from when I was in hospital, would I be stupid to take those?

Anxiety, anxiety anxiety
I’ve tried
Colpermin
, Buscopan, Windeeze. All the remedies really but nothing seems to help. And I’m sure that is because I’m so very very anxious. I won’t itemise why but there are things going on in my life apart from the worry about the virus. So it is my mind that needs the attention.

Very confused :( Does this sound like endometriosis? What should I do?
Doctors suspected IBS and put me on
colpermin
which gave some relief but not massive relief. I did begin to notice my stomach played up a few days leading up to my period. I then started to get pelvic pain when I went to wee but only sometimes. Thought maybe it was a UTI but nothing.

Long term use of milk of magnesia
I have been taking
colpermin
and it has helped me with bloating and spasms. However it is making me constipated. Is it ok to take milk of magnesia long term for constipation? Or what is best long term treatment for constipation.

IBS
I've a 25yr old son who suffers with IBS, he's tried over the counter drugs such as
Colpermin
, Senakot, and a few others that I can't remember the name of but they don't seem to work. He's been to the GP but got nowhere, told him to go get a second opinion from a different Gp at the practice.

IBS? success with peppermint oil capsules
I am now using Pepperminn which is much cheaper than
Colpermin
, and is also enteric coated which I think you need. I know these will not work for everybody, but I would say they are worth giving a try.

Antispasmodics and Acid reflux
Mebeverine seems to make it worse, alverine seems to make it worse,
Colpermin
often makes it worse. Buscopan generally doesn't seem to but you can't take nausea tablets with that and also I find it tricky to get for dose right.
