Brain Injury and gut problems.
I've just a telephone consultation with my Gastroenterologist, I had a
colonoscopy
and biopsy last month and they're clear. That news is good, because at least I know it's not 'life threatening' and I was concerned; I lost my two closest friends to bowel cancer before the age of 50.

Is there any connection between gastro-intestinal problems and CLL?
Following
colonoscopy
, finally have had a diagnosis of diverticulosis. Is this purely coincidental?

Colonoscopy next week.
My doctor told me it would be fine and it was most likely hemorrhoids, but we scheduled the
colonoscopy
anyway. I'm 33 year old male. Anyone have any insight? This is stressing me out. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Pernicious Anemia in people younger than 30
I still wonder sometimes what couldve caused my pernicious anemia, knowing that my endoscopy and
colonoscopy
came back negative. Also, I wanted to know if there are any more people my age with pernicious anemia.

Feels like I’m on life’s roundabout again.
I started off with HPylori causing my gut problems, had to endure investigation of
colonoscopy
and two biopsies were done which came back all clear, tested positive for HPylori had treatment twice as difficult this time to get rid of,then possible thyroid and adrenals issues ,got them ticked off out my

Confused
I went to my doctor who ordered a
colonoscopy
and said I definitely have colon cancer and it is likely advanced. I haven’t even had the
colonoscopy
yet! Can you have colon cancer with little to no symptoms?

Hemorragic colitis
I have been diagnosed with hemorragic colitis, by a
colonoscopy
. I have found very little information about this condition and I am a bit dubious about this diagnosis as the bleeding is cyclical. I think my last gastroenteritis must have been about 25 years ago.

*GRAPHIC* IBD Stool??
Not sure if it's the usual process to have a consultation before an urgent
colonoscopy
or if they have done a review and feel I don't need one and a phone call will suffice?

New to apixaban
I had a gastroscopy,
colonoscopy
and a CT scan but nothing was found. Eventually the bleed was stopped when I was given drugs to help the blood to clot. I have been on Apixaban (5mg twice a day) for about 2 months and all seems well.

Normal endoscopy... now I’m confused!
I was being investigated for ibd but my
colonoscopy
has come back clear. Does anyone know if that now rules out ibd or could I get a normal
colonoscopy
because I’m not “flaring up” anymore?

Portal Hypertensive Gastropothy
GP referred me for to the colon people who decided to do gastroscopy and
colonoscopy
as I've been feeling sick and stomach pain. Colon was fine (thank goodness) but they found portal hypertensive gastropothy (without bleeding).

Cervical endometriosis
Hi everyone. In January my once normal periods started getting longer and by March I was on two weeks off on for two. I went to the GP in March who prescribed tranexemic acid. In October I was having a particularly crampy period day and felt a terrible pain in my back. I came over all clammy, nauseous

Had leep procedure in February 2020 to remove abnormal Cells. I have since had bleeding between periods

Update on John
The only fly in the ointment is they saw something on his colon which they said could be a glip on the X-ray or they were not ruling out a tumor so John is to have a
colonoscopy
. So good and bad news. Just hoping also that his breathing improves, back on steroids and a new steroid inhaler.

Ongoing stomach problems, is it something sinister?
I'm scheduled for a
colonoscopy
in 10 days but I'm absolutely terrified they are going to find cancer. My anxiety and depression has never been worse as I'm convinced it's bad news. I'm 30 year old female and I am obese.
