Anxiety between CT scans
Hi, I have an 8mm lung nodule found incidentally about 9 mins ago. I've had a 3 month scan and coming up on the 6 mos one to see if it's changed. I'm worried all of the time that they will find it's grown tremendously and then all that comes with that. My spouse is no longer supportive of me because

squamous cell lung cancer
I see many posts about adenocarcinoma but none on NSCLC Squamous cell. Can anyone share their experience with squamous cell lung cancer. Also if anyone has had PNI (peri neural invasion). After surgery I also have a lot of high grade dysplasia in bronchial margins. I had right upper lobe removed February

How much can one body take?
As if 2 strokes in 15 months plus a double lung transplant isn’t enough I have now been told I suffered a mild ( thank the Lord mild) heart attack recently which I wasn’t aware of. “Possible inferior infarct- age undetermined “ is their medical term for a myocardial arrest. Suppose on a positive note

6 weeks post lung transplant.
Home now and what a relief. 22 days in ICU resulting in muscle waste in legs so starting all over again with stairs etc. Wound pain 8/10 especially when bending or reaching out. 30% loss of vision due to minor stroke at bottom of brain. The docs seem quite happy with results which is brilliant but

Adenocarcinoma lung cancer
Hi All thanks so much for the kind people who responded to my mothers diagnosis of Adenocarcinoma of the lungs. We’ve now had the oncology appointment and Mums PDL1 is 100% and immunotherapy is the recommended treatment. We are due to start pembroluzumab (keytruda) to start every 3 weeks in the next

transplant with no social support?
I have an appointment to discuss lung transplant but I have no real social support, just one elderly sibling. I did mention this to the girl on the phone but she was very breezy about it and just said when I'd had the transplant I wouldn't be let out of hospital until I was ok and the transplant would

Scared I might have lung cancer
Home About Cancer Cancer Chat Post I have a cough most of my life, but just lately I have had a horrible, relentless tickly cough, to the point I gag, and pee myself! I went to AnE in February for a cough that was really hurting my ribs.... They saw me and sent me to ambulatory care. They did test

Life insurance ??
Good afternoon, lovely sunny Sunday here in Norfolk? 🌞So my partner and I have finally moved, but I'm struggling with getting anyone to accept me for life insurance to cover my mortgage as I have RA and have had lung surgery?.... Has anyone else had this happen, or know of any companies that would provide

Prognosis Stage
My husband had throat cancer and was cleared in 2017. Then lung cancer last year, was cleared but its now returned. He is currently receiving Immunotherapy as chemotherapy wasn't helping. My question is why when we ask the consultant or her Registrar for a prognosis they don't know, we haven't been told

Adenocarcinoma lung cancer
hi my mum has just been diagnosed with possible stage3-4 Adenocarcinoma if the right lung and her lymph nodes are inflamed, the cancer is contained in the lungs currently. We are waiting for an oncologist appointment to discuss treatment. We are all in shock as the consultant says mum may only have months
