hi to all. I have PAF and have had some kind of episode today but my Kardia monitor is not recognising it as AFib, also normally my HR goes very high ( 160+) but today it has stayed low ish 55-65. Update.
Hi all. Been a bit quiet recently as I have had some issues. I had what I thought was heartburn a couple of weeks ago along with shortness of breath. After tests anECG and chest x-ray it is probable that I had a silent heart attack. Being monitored by the hospital. I have been exhausted recently so had

Stomach pain.
I had a bad reaction to fish oil tablets.Gave me a terrible reaction Of I B S. That's 3 weeks ago and things have still not settled down.I can't eat or drink anything that doesn't give me stomach pain...I'm on 5mg pred tapering from 100mg for 2 years.Would prednisolone have any thing to do with my tummy

bp very up and down
Most of the time I can coast along and my systolic bp is acceptable but just sometimes it goes up rather for apparently no reason. I then have to start taking Candesartan again for a day or two and then taper off with every other day for a week or so and it goes back down. I do all the deep breathing

Seven years ago, I had a quintuple bypass and a heart valve reconstruction. I am on atorvastatin atenolol lisinopril tamsulosin finasteride. My lab work of these years has been kept in the green for the most part. I’ve been hearing a lot lately about how statins have side effects, and how cholesterol

Our CBD Journey With Dad
I would like to start this off with a brief insight to our CBD journey. I know we all have had to go through very similar caring procedures! But, I need to open up my sadness and talk with others about tackling the day to day guilt after losing a huge part of your being.

I've just received a letter with an appointment for a dobutamine stress test. No explanation why and I still haven't had results from my 24hr monitor and CT angiograms done two months ago. Care at home Worcestershire/Gloucestershire border
My mum haa cbd and psp. She was taken to hospital 10days ago with extreme pains in her legs. This was managed by increasing her gabapentin from 300mg to 600mg. Unfortunatley the hospital did not increase this gradually so she seems to be experiencing some nasty side effects, including extreme tiredness

Apple Watch
Curious to hear from anyone using an Apple Watch ECG app to monitor afib. On mine I can get a reading saying afib and then immediately measure again and get sinus. I recently started taking Dofetilide, so maybe the medication is helping to resolve afib episodes. Any thoughts on how accurate Apple Watch

AV Node Ablation and Pacemaker
Hi lovely people, I promised I’d get back to you after seeing a cardiologist/electrophysiologist privately. As you might guess from the title, this is what he believes will solve my problem. I will still be in persistent Afib, but won’t feel it. In the meantime he has doubled my digoxin dose and I will

Peaceful nights at last!
I started posting on this forum 2 years ago but it is many months since I last posted so I wanted to tell you what is proving to be a happy ending to my long RLS tale of woe. I've had RLS all my life (inherited from my father) and for many years it was just an occasional thing but when I got old it

Arrhythmia and Afib are they the same ?
my cardiologist tells me i have severe arrhythmia and will need to take anti coagulants indefinitely; i also had my pprolapsed mitral valve replaced 3 years ago, whether one or other of these conditions existed first is not known. Other than warfarin I take Ezetrol to lower cholesterol. I have no idea

Vraylar weight gain or not?
Wow, Vraylar is helping me feel like myself again! No obsessive thinking, great motivation, everything good! Does anyone who has used, had weight gain or were you able to maintain your current weight? Thank you! I don’t want to have to go off this!

Problem with EBV
Hi all I have active EBV, but I can't take Lysine because it reduces my sleep-5,6 hours and I sleep very poorly by waking up several times during the night. My question is, is there anything else that can successfully replace Lysine. I've tried taking Valtrex, but I'm even worse off it, because it's
