Losing hope
Hi everyone I’ve been diagnosed with Endometriosis since May 2018, and since then I have had 3 laparoscopys and every time I have had endo removed (laser) I was on the depo injection for 2 years however I was told to come off it and try taking the pill instead, it’s been almost a year and I keep forgetting

Sotalol side effects
I've had both SVT and AF ablation's. The SVT was from just after I had my first child and was severe. The ablation for that took and I was put on Verapemil (sp?) I had no further SVT and all was well. Then after 30 years I began 11 years of hell that brought me here: total gastrectomy; followed 3 years

Stopped pill
I was on the co cyprindiol pill for 2 months. I stopped taking the pill last December as we are planning for a baby and came on my bleed on the 3rd December... I still haven’t had my period yet. I have done a pregnancy test but all 3 have come out negative. Can someone please advice me in what I should

I'm so scared
Just wondering if anyone can help: For about five months I've been feeling really tired. Like I have to force myself up in the morning kind of tired. I started to get a hip and back pain and put it down to starting a new strenuous job and getting a new mattress. Since the pain has gone I started to

Chronic lower back pain, nerve pain flare up. Advice needed please!
Hello all. This is my first post even though I joined this great community over a year ago. Just got home after an 8 hour stint at A&E. My GP sent me for an emergency MRI to rule out Cauda Equine Syndrome due to yet another episode of climbing the walls with back pain and a nerve pain flare up with

Where do I go from here?
Hi everyone, I‘m back looking for advice again before seeing my doctor. A quick update: weaned myself off Ropinirole after augmenting which was horrendous. I was on Co Codamol for a while and then prescribed Pregabalin which didn’t suit me at all so came off it. Went back on the Co Codamol for a while

Is a combination of drugs the answer?
Having been on Prami for years, I tried Ropinerole which did not work for me so the Rotigotine (3mg) Neupropatch was great for a while until this summer when clearly augmentation set in again. I had a lot of sleepless nights until I discovered it worked well with 2 co-dydramol (plus one Senekot to help

Painful left shoulder
Hello all My left shoulder at the back is causing me pain. I'm sure I've had this before but I can't remember what helped. I've tried taking nurofen and Co-Codamol but they haven't helped much so far. I've also tried to take jointease (that's a supplement), turmeric and magnesium. Thank you PS - updated

Leg Pain / Cramps
Another night of excruciating leg pains / cramps, is anyone on medication that actually helps with pain? I have MPL/ET on Peg @ LD Aspirin, for pain relief I take co-codamol & co-drydamol. I’m getting really fed up of this pain.

Doctors not taking my concerns seriously
Hi everyone, I haven't actually been diagnosed with endometriosis but I have severe period pains. When I'm on my period it feels like a constant stabbing and I struggle to stand, I also vomit whilst I'm on due to the pain. It's not always been this bad but for the last 3 years it's unbearable. Normal

More than just tablets
First of all please know I totally sympathise with you and your suffering. In 1999 I was diagnosed with Fm,followed by OA , diabetes t2, and MRI scan showed Multi Level Spinal Stenosis. And High Blood pressure. Just recently I have suffered the worst muscle spasms ever and No Drug Eased the pain.

Worried about my health now
Hi everyone, had really good advice from fellow suffers before and desperately need your help more than ever now before I go totally bonkers. Weaned myself completely off Ropinirole about 2 months ago now which was pretty horrendous as I had been taking them for such a long time. My doctor prescribed

RLS or not
I’m not sure whether I have a mild form of RLS or not. It’s a feeling of heaviness in my legs and I have to move them They don’t move on their own. It’s seems to radiate from my back I have spoken to my GP a few times but it seems to be dismissed. One said to drink tonic water, which I have. It just

Change of painkillers - advice needed!
Hi folks, I have been on Co-codamol 30/500 four times a day for two years but started having horrible headaches a few months ago so I tapered it off with a view to stopping it. My GP said most painkillers stop working after a while anyway. I managed to stop Co-codamol completely two weeks ago, no headaches

What’s people’s experience of Sulfasalazine? I’m on my second week so now taking 2 tablets per day, increasing to 4 tabs by week 4. Have to laugh
Been one of those weeks but i can see the funny side now. I had a "lesion" removed from my cheek - just 2 stitches and a local anaesthetic. All good- except it made it v hard to use my inhalers-not a problem I had anticipate! I took one dose of co-codamol and wished I hadn't- nearly fell over! And changed

Back in hospital -physically & emotionally drained. Surgery or persevere with injections?
So I’m writing this post from my hospital bed feeling like I’ve reached breaking point. It’s my 3rd time in hospital in 3 weeks due to the pain from severe endometriosis & chocolate cyst. Started hormone injections & HRT 3 weeks ago Each time they’ve tried different pain relief which works temporarily
