Have to laugh

Been one of those weeks but i can see the funny side now. I had a "lesion" removed from my cheek - just 2 stitches and a local anaesthetic. All good- except it made it v hard to use my inhalers-not a problem I had anticipate! I took one dose of co-codamol and wished I hadn't- nearly fell over! And changed the bloody dressing- to find I only had large dressings at home- look like I have been to a Halloween party. Hoho- lots of learning points. M

I’m glad it appears you have had your lesson removed in a timely fashion, I would encourage everyone to do the same.

I left mine thinking, oh it’s ok....wrong!

Ended up with 16 stitches that covered half my face and my nose, looked like I’d done 10 rounds boxing, wore sunglasses for at least two weeks!

Hope your feeling g better soon

J

Oh my goodness. Really hope you are ok now. I just have to wait for the lab results. A friend who hadn't seen me for a while alerted me to changes in the "lesion" and the GP referred me to a consultant. M

Thanks. Stitches out Wed- I'm hoping the nurse will be able to provide a sensible plaster!

Thanks. I managed a meeting at the bank today- hoho- 10 out of 10 for the member of staff who was helping me with things- she didn't comment at all! Roll on Wed.

Had the stitch out- apparently it was one "running stitch"- v hard to get out- glad I took a paracetamol before hand! Lovely nurse- said the surgeon had done his best to minimize a scar. Just have to wait for the results now- all seem confident that all is well and this has been precautionary.
