Co-codamol

Co-codamol is what I have here (and paracetamol) but I know I have to be careful. Any advice please? Wendy

I had my laparoscopy a month ago and have a lot of pelvic pain even after one month taking two co codamol three times a day but still have stool leak and anal pain.are these normal symptoms after surgery 😢

Doctor said to increase Prednisolone by 5mg and prescribed co-codamol which haven’t helped at all. Is this my first flare and have I got away lightly until now? Grateful for any advice please.

Well just been signed off sick from work pain and exhaustion so bad, gp has upped my gabapentin and put me on co codamol I feel so sick on them, phoned citizens advice regarding pip does anyone else receive this can my husband claim carers allowance?

I’m on V and O. Well actually just V now. Having finished my O cycles. My consultant has stopped my aciclovir and Cotrimoxazole. My V will continue until February. Is this other peoples experience?

She prescribed laxatives , co codamol and orimorph. I have an appointment with my consultant on 3 May. My question is has anyone had a similar experience and what could have caused it? I think it is linked to the chemo.

I recently had an adverse reaction to my co-codamol and can’t take that anymore. Now I only have ibuprofen and hot water bottles. It’s miserable. Although not as heavy as my usual it’s still quite bad for the regular person. I’ve decided to stop taking it today.

Even over the counter co-codamol isn't helping massively at the moment (I can't take nsaids as I'm allergic). I'm currently waiting to see if methotrexate is going to work for me. But I just feel so unwell all the time and it's becoming unbearable.

Hope everyone is ok with this heat. I just wanted to ask if anyone is on a maintenance drug Co Trimoxazole & if so how long have you been in remission. My consultant has said that by December we will start steroid reduction & cease rituximab but carry on with the co Trimoxazole. Although i am excited

Eventually was taken off all the other drugs I was taking (Allopurinol, Metoclopramide, Dapsone and Co-Dydramol for headaches). I'm now only taking Acalabrutinib plus Co-codamol and Tramadol for headaches and pain but am seeing my Consultant on Thursday to see where we go from here.

I take mefenamic acid before and during my period, along with paracetamol, ibuprofen, and sometimes co-codamol. My hot water bottle is stuck to my belly and back like glue and I always carry one everywhere I go to try and manage the pain. Sex is also extremely painful.

Hi everyone, I have been diagnosed for a year with GPA, I was very ill by the time I was diagnosed with an ANCA count of >177, it has just got down to 0 and I am on many medications including Methotrexate, Micophenolate Mofetil, Co-trimoxazole, 2 lots of blood pressure meds, Prednisolone and others.

I am now taking all four plus co codamol and naproxen occasionally. I would have expected to be able to function but my hands are still very stiff and painful and am very fatigued. I have had to give up my job because I can no longer meet the demands.

After going for my six monthly checkup with the RA specialist, she has suggested I stop naproxen and switch to co-codamol, which I reluctant to do. Has any one been in the same situation, and been prescribed an alternative anti inflammatory? Chris_0

Have an appointment in 2 weeks with the hospital for a consultation about having a colonoscopy, I tried buscopan, ibuprofen to no avail and ended up having a co-codamol which did take the edge off the pain… Does anyone have any hints tips ?
