Clomid

My doctor has given me clomid to take and try naturally this month whilst we wait for our next cycle in the summer - I ovulate but he said that it can also be used as mild stimulant. I have a thin lining and so I want to try and throw everything at this month.

In the meantime he has prescribed me clomid. I am to take it from cd2-cd8 (I understand it's normally taken cd2-6) and then I will have two trigger shots later in my cycle (not sure of days as realise I can't read his handwriting!) I will be scanned before then though.

Evening All, Just wondered if anyone has overstimulated on 25mg of Clomid and what the next step is / was for you?

Finally, finally after years of trying, heartbreak after heartbreak, the dark days of clomid, OHSS and a failed IVF cycle I can say... I’m pregnant!!!!! Blood test this morning, then the clinic called with the results.

He is giving me 3 months to get pregnant on my own after unblocking tubes then if nothing, he's prescribing clomid once I go and see him again which could be months. Such a drag all of it it's been 2 years of trying in May this year.

Had my 3rd scan yesterday (on Clomid) and up until now they have been fine. Today I started to get lower abdominal pain (intermittently sharp) and also feel very nauseated. Feeling generally unwell tonight. First time this has happened. Is this a normal reaction?

We were prescribed clomid but the new consultant we saw told us not to take it due to the fact that, with my womb abnormality, if I conceived twins, then it would likely end in miscarriage or very premature birth. He’s given us another 6 months to try before we have our first attempt at ivf.

Evening all, I started my first cycle of Clomid this week. I am pleased to have finally got going with treatment as it feels like it's a positive step forward. However, I have struggled with some of the side effects.

Hi all 4th round of clomid cd 29 and can feel period coming so means had another bang on 28 day cycle, my progesterone levels were tested on cd20 and cd23, and were 32/43 do these seem low for fertility meds? Why isn’t it working :(((

Just wondered how quickly side effects of Clomid kick in? Only been on it a couple of days and feel shattered, also came home from work with a terrible headache, almost how I feel when AF is due (usually get bad PMS). Normally I feel great this time of the month.

Hi all, due to start Clomid on day 2 of my cycle. I've been spotting for a few days then started to bled heavier this afternoon. Is today day one of my cycle or is day one when you have a full day of bleeding? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I've got myself in a pickle over it.

During clomid treatment I was instructed to follicle track. Chelsea and Westminster insisted on charging me £150 a scan and I needed three per month. Clomid didn't agree with me, my periods were still very irregular.

After finding out today that my first round of clomid hasn't worked I have been in floods of tears all day my eyes are puffy. I decided to ring my clinic to see where we are on the list we will now not be seen until after next April when we were originally looking at February.

After 3 and a half years ttc, 6 months of Clomid and a round of IVF, we finally saw ‘2 lines’ on pregnancy test. We are stunned 😳 and obviously over the moon. Although early days, this is a hurdle we have never overcome before. Keep the faith ladies and gents 💖
