I'm looking any tips to thicken my lining. My doctor has given me clomid to take and try naturally this month whilst we wait for our next cycle in the summer - I ovulate but he said that it can also be used as mild stimulant. I have a thin lining and so I want to try and throw everything at this month. Any top tips that people swear by to increase lining are appreciated (as well as anything to avoid!). Thanks guys x

Hi Ash, not sure if these are all “old wives tales” bit vitamin E, quite high dosage 1000iu & beetroot juice helps with blood flow.
Increasing folic acid also good for uterus as well as good for pregnancy but by more than the recommended 400mg, I’ve been taking 2 per day as well as a multivitamin that contains folic acid, so equates to 1200mg.
I’m busy with my frozen cycle, they checking my lining tomorrow so will see if any of this actually works!

Thanks lovely. I bought some vit e tonight but only the 400iu version as I wasn't sure about the dose. I think I'll just take two instead. I didn't try that last cycle so hopefully it works. I had some pomegranate juice tonight but I'll add beetroot to the shopping list!

Hi Hun, with vitamin E take the 400iu, for a few days then gradually build to 2 pills. Vitamin E works best over a period of time, so if you take a smaller dose and build over a week or so it will be perfect...

Hey, you could also try pomegranate juice that’s meant to be good or try the smoothie (add blueberries, avocado and spinach) if you can’t face drinking it alone. Good luck x

Hi Ash, I think that's a wise decision to TTC naturally during the wait out... I actually suggest the same to anyone who's going to be on the wait for a couple of months. There are natural ways to thicken lining but don't overdo it as the lining should be within a range - which is 6-8mm around the ovulation. The increase in natural and consistent if you happen to conceive which should be around 15mm by the time the embryo implants. Limit the intake of sugar as they tend to upset the hormonal balance. Whole food diets are best and you can add in some fruits like raspberries or pomegranate but avoid peas or papaya as they are natural contraceptives. Taking iron and folic acid supplements helps as well - but make sure you consult your Dr and get it prescribed than choosing all by yourself. Lastly, bringing more blood to your uterus is beneficial for the lining for which you can opt for pregnancy-specific massage therapies... they are the best indeed when it comes to settling your nerves.
