I am 28 years old been trying for a baby for 19 months. I have had such a stressful experience with Chelsea that I decided to go privately to see a consultant.

During clomid treatment I was instructed to follicle track. Chelsea and Westminster insisted on charging me £150 a scan and I needed three per month. Clomid didn't agree with me, my periods were still very irregular.

The private Dr suggested a laparscopy which I had on Thursday this was a private op and it cost £4800. It turned out I had emdeomeosis as well. The Dr said that I might need to move onto injections. But I am so worried about the costs of all these things. It takes 3 months just to see the NHS consultant so it's very hard to make any progress outside of the three month windows. They didn't even mention checking for emdeomeosis despite having a hsg can that showed my tubes were suboptimal.

I just don't know what to. Is there a way to get back on the NHS waggon after going privately.
