Reaction to trabeculectomy
I'm 66 and it was decided that as drops were no longer controlling pressure, I needed to have trabeculectomy in both eyes. Had first op last summer but had a toxic reaction resulting in my eye being closed, severe reaction to light as well as constant irritation. 11 months later eye still not fully open

Eye Drop Prescription Bottles don’t last 4 weeks
Hi, just wonder if anyone else has a similar problem. I take Brinzolamide twice a day in one eye and Travapost at bedtime. The Brinzolamide only ever lasts me 3 weeks although prescription says it should last for 4 weeks. Maybe because I am more concerned about getting a good dose each application. I

POTS - useful article interview
Quite a few people, including myself, have or have had POTS and I saw this article describing how it ca be diagnosed in a clinic without Tilt Table test - https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/995674?ecd=wnl_infocu1_broad_broad_per Some excellent explanations alongside advice for exercising - wish

Anxious and don't know why
I seem to go from a feeling of euphoria to a sudden downturn of a feeling of dread and despair. I try to analyze why i suddenly get these feelings of dread, but i do think a lot of the cause is worrying, for i do worry about everything even if things are going well, and at those times i feel something

I'm not getting better
I don't know how else to help myself at this point. My anxiety and depression have just taken over. I've tried everything in the book to feel better. Each day I feel lower and lower... I want to stop crying. I want to feel normal.

Same old feelings
I’ve been feeling the effects of anxiety and depression since I was seven years old, and I’m almost 60 now. Saying that makes me feel exhausted. I feel like Sisyphus (the guy in Greek mythology who had to roll a boulder up hill over and over and over and …) I talk to my doctor in about a month. I think

Pegasys issues
Hi everyone previously I had told you that I was having Sjogrens symptoms while on Pegasys. I stopped it and saw a rheumatologist. She was very dismissive. She told me to just look up my own results on the portal and because she was convinced, without seeing any results that i do not have Sjogrens.

Update on Prostate Cancer Vaccines that I follow... another year is gone...
Greetings FPC forum, It has been another year... and I would love to have better news... there is a new vaccine candidate to monitor, but the reality is that the system takes time... The system needs a revision in my opinion, but I digress... As I reviewed the last time, the vaccine trial for RhoVac's

Progynova anxiety
Hello all. I’m currently 12 days into an FET, taking x4 Progynova each night before sleep. The last few days I’ve been feeling super anxious - overthinking everything, so many thoughts going round in my head, cannot seem to shake it. I’m wondering if the drugs cloud be making me feel like this and am

Nail stain
Hi, I’m here again but now asking for any experience with nail stain, a dark one ( Melanonychia ) related with Thyroid issues. I got it in one of my nail and waiting for a NHS specialist doctor appointment now. I know this can be a big problem, but looking on internet some of melanonychia can be related

Inadvertent taper of prednisolone
I inadvertently took 5mg instead of 10mg prenisolone for 2 days( before which everything was fine) and all my inflammation symptoms of my uveitis came back(haziness etc). . Now I'm back on 10mg . Any idea how long it would take for these symptoms to resolve itself?

New guy, older guy, first post
Hello. I have been on the planet for a bit. I'm not even sure I tapped the right place to do a general post. Will try this. I joined yesterday. This depression stuff is not a new experience but it has gotten much deeper. Much more uncomfortable. I have started treating myself to seeing a counselor

Besremi clinical trial opportunity
I've was diagnosed with Jak2+ ET in March, though the BMB report stated they couldn't exclude pre-fibrotic myelofibrosis as a possible differential. It's been a bit of a crazy ride, but am now under the care of an MPN specialist (what a difference a specialist makes!) My symptoms include fatigue, headaches

Asking for words of support please
Hi, next week I have a VA eval for PTSD/ Depression increase. I know it’s God’s will whatever the decision, but it causes anxiety, esp. when the person evaluating has no idea of my daily battle with depression/ anxiety. Also, a lot of self blaming/ feeling ashamed. Thank you for listening. Hope you
