Positive TG Ab, normal TSH
Is there a reason a doctor would order only TSH and TG Ab tests? All I’m finding indicates that TG Ab is usually assessed with TPO Ab, if not also TSI Ab. My doctor only ordered the two, with my TSH at 2.33 mcIU/mL and my TG Ab at 20.8 u/mL My vitamin d is borderline and ferritin is low, despite supplementing

My daughter (aged 44 years) has asked and asked for her blood results and on Monday her ENT consultant rang and told her the following for whatever reason they will NOT send/email her the results. We’re thinking that maybe they were showing she needed medication for her thyroid problem. The Endo consultant

I have had my thyroid and adrenal tests done including antibodies by Genova and they have now been interpreted. We notice that there is a blank space for “TG and TPO” - no figure given. Has the result been missed off in error or what, do any of you know please?

Overtreatment? latest Thyroid screening - any advice gratefully received/
I have been taking an NDT of 120mg for the past 6 months and T3 of 12.5ug. I had a follow up apt with the Endocrinologist who I was referred to by my Gp. In the last apt he said I was in danger of overtreatment and atrial fibrillation due to the above treatment. He suggested I have another blood test

Test help for tiredness
Hello, I am looking for a bit of help with my recent test results. I am sorry to ask as I know there are many of us here asking but the nature of thyroid is that there are so many variables aren't there so it is sometimes hard to match others' answers to your own situation. My history is this: March

Recent results are confusing
Hi all, I’ve recently had bloods done (NHS and Thriva) and the two are quite different. My Thriva says my TSH is 7.34 and my FT4 is 14.2. It wasn’t a full thyroid test so I don’t have T3 or TPO. My ferritin from the NHS test was low, 12.5 but Thriva test was higher (?). My folate and Vit D is v low

Is my blood result a sign of Graves?
My Consultant reckons that I probably have Graves disease. I am having an ecograph in 3 weeks and a gammagraphy shortly. My latest bloods show the following: TSH 6.56 (.4 - 5) FT4 1.20 (.85 - 1.71) FT3 3.93 (2.02 - 4.43) Thyroid peroxidase antibody 197.5 (0 - 60) Antithyroglobulin antibody

Please help - Thyroid?
Hi, my TPO antibodies have come back high. 3 months ago they were 95.2 and now they are 100.7. I have problems sleeping, palpitations, breathlessness, weight gain, hyper pigmentation on my face, tiredness... BUT my TSH levels are normal, as is everything else, including my cortisol. The GP hasn't tested
