Can you add most recent results and ranges

Have you had vitamin levels tested?

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) diagnosed by raised Thyroid antibodies

Ask GP to test vitamin levels

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)

Is this how you do your tests?

Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or thyroid antibodies or all relevant vitamins

All four vitamins need to be regularly tested and frequently need supplementing to maintain optimal levels

I had some awful symptoms with raised TPO antibodies but normal TGAB and optimal TSH, T4 and T3, so can tell you it does happen! Don't think we're related do you (same last name I'm guessing)? ;) :D

My symptoms really improved following Izabella Wentz's Hashimotos Protocol, but it's also worth checking out her website for some tips.

You should get B12, ferritin, folate and vitamin D tested - quite a lot of my symptoms were due to vitamin D and B12 deficiencies too, which are common with hashimotos.
