Hashimoto confirmed? Blood test back!
So I’ve just got my Blue Horizon tests back done by finger prick on 20/09/21 at 7-8am, fasted. I’ve also added the tests I’ve just done with the 9th with the GP for comparison. (Done 8.20am on 09/09/21) GP repeated antibodies and FT3 today but don’t have the results of that yet obviously. Also my cortisol

Pre-conception care with Hashimoto's
Hi. I've just moved to the UK and I'm not quite sure how the health system works here for patients with Hashimoto's ttc. My GP tested my TSH without T4 (or T3 and TPO abs for that matter) and told me that my TSH was 'normal' at 2.68 when ttc. She didn't think my dosage needs to be increased nor that

Do these things work for anyone?
I've had colon issues over the last decade with two major incidents. In each case I was given Xifaxin (sp), costs a fortune for me but..., and with concurrent diet watching with low fodmap, I got totally better quickly. I am now going through a terrible period post antibiotics (IV and oral) in February

Elevated TPO and gamma globulin
My son' blood test showed high thyroid TPO. Does it mean he has hashimoto? Does hashimoto always lead to hypothyroid ? His blood test also showed high gamma globulin. Is there a correlation between high TPO and high gamma globulin ? Thanks in advance.

TPO antibodies.. plus other questions
I was looking through old BT results and I’ve seen I was tested for TPO a few years back and the level was <33iu/mL. The reference range is 0-60. At the time TSH was 0.99 but has since risen consistently since. (Was 5.63 in March). I was unaware that I had TPO antibodies.. I was also reading the

Starting investigation - Blood Test queries..
Hi! After my first post I managed to speak to a GP and mentioned to them that my most recent TSH was elevated (5.63) along with other stuff and he agreed that at the least I have subclinical hypothyroidism and agreed to do more bloods including a cortisol test to check for Cushings due to my symptoms

Hello helpful people It’s been a little while since I posted a question. I had been over replacing with metavive earlier in the year and came off it rather suddenly which was not a good idea. I was very tired, gained a few pounds, slept poorly , even more hair loss, lack of motivation & 2 viral infections

Blood results help
I have had hashimotos now for 8 years. I developed it post partum and was positive for TPO antibodies. Labs previously tested have only ever been TSH and T4, only TPO antibodies at initial diagnosis, have never looked at T3 or antibodies again. Anyway generally feel ok but weight loss still a problem

Feeling a little lost.
Hi, first post but have been lurking on here for a while now and have learned a lot. I was diagnosed with underactive thyroid twenty five years ago. Didn’t know much about it then and relied on my gp completely. At the beginning of this month I asked, for the first time, for vitamins D and B12, ferritin
