Links between Dyslexia (short term memory issues) and Hypothyroidism. Italian study with dyslexic children showing 60% had TPO antibodies
I am nearly 2 months into finding out I am primary hypothyroid (TSH was 79 with no T4) with raised TPO, but I have must have been suffering for a few years. I thought I was celiac and am now gluten free for over a year which has mostly sorted out my stomach issues. I am nearing mid fifties and through

Didn't get anywhere at endo appointment with TSH 5.8 and elevated TG antibodies. Is it worth getting another opinion?
Hi guys, Male, UK in my 30s here. Have lots of typical thyroid symptoms, tiredness, aches, not the best stomach health, elevated cholesterol etc etc. My TSH is 5.8, it's always between 5 and 6 so not a one off. t3 is 5.5 ref range 3.1-6.1 so that looks decent at least. t4 15.7 ref range 12-22.

Tpo anti bodies.
Hi there, I've posted my results already before but was just wondering about these antibodies on my results it's showed Tpo 280.6 range 0 - 5.61 What does this indicate and can they be decreased? Could these be a reason for mental health issues? Thanks

Thyroid results pre IVF
Hi everyone, I have had some routine blood tests done ahead of IVF including TFTs. Results: TSH 0.29miu/L, free T4 16.pmol/L and TPO 225iu/ml. I know the antibodies are high which I am very surprised about as I have no symptoms and no history personally or within the family of thyroid issues. TSH

Thyroid tests
Hi all, As part of routine bloods ahead of FET my clinic tested my thyroid. FSH and T4 were very normal but I had evidence of raised TPO antibodies. I’ve read this can lead to miscarriage but have a friend who had the same thing during fertility and was told it’s quite common by endocrinologist and

More thyroid blood resuls
My TSH has come back as 5.75. (0.27-4.20) Free T4 16.3. (10.0-22.0) Doctor I spoke to before bloods said if TSH was still over range I was to be medicated due to previous bloods. Now I've apparently to wait three months to get tested again. Previous bloods: March TSH 5, FreeT4 17.2, same range, July:

curious to hear anyones thoughts on a Hashi’s turned Graves dilemma
hashi’s three years ( tpo 180/ t4 8 on diagnosis). Graves confirmed one year ago, Trab 4.5, t4/T3 over range. Carbimazole started and reduced as levels very quickly dropped, also ted . Carb eventually down to 1.25 per day, but still dropping free T’s and raising TSh even at such a minute amount. But

Bad episode of Vertigo and blood tests
Hello everyone, I used to have subclinical Hashimoto for more than 10 years and was on 25 or 50 mcg of Levothyroxine. Several months ago I started to take Tirosint gel capsules 50 mcg. I did not feel the difference, just maybe my tinnitus became a bit louder and started effecting my hearing. Recently

Ovulation Heart Palpitations & Joint Pain - Hashimotos
This is my first post and wondering if anyone can shed some light. I've had problems since having my baby in May 2021. When first diagnosed they said I had positive TPO antibodies, but never mentioned Hashimoto's to me. I've learned this through my own research. They said I would become hypothyroid but

Antibodies for Hashis
Good morning all, I have often seen it mentioned (mostly by SlowDragon that a significant minority of Hashis sufferers only have high TG antibodies rather than TPO. Also, some never have raised antibodies at all. Is there any research paper available concerning this please? Any info would be greatly appreciated

Hi everyone, I need help please. My TSH is 11 [0.3-5.5] My T4 is 12.4 [10-22] anti thyroid peroxidate antibody is 0 Since Hashimoto/autoimmune thyroiditis is ruled out and i have not be referred for further testing. What else can be the cause? What should I request from my doctor please?

Please can you interpret my latest blood test
I have now got an appointment with the Endo Clinic on 27th Oct. and need to put my ducks in a row. I attach the results of my latest blood test on 17th Oct. and would be grateful if you could interpret what is going on with my thyroid so that I will be better informed when I see the Endo.
