Anaemia also now included in their full health screen which is brilliant value for money compared to other private testing companies.

A combined test profile includes:

Diabetes – HbA1c

Vitamin D

Total Cholesterol – Total Cholesterol, HDL, Non-HDL and triglycerides

Thyroid - TSH, FT3, FT4

Anaemia – Haemoglobin, Ferritin, Transferrin Saturation, Active B12, Folate

It's a pity that the Full Health Screen doesn't include the TPO antibodies also but just the regular thyroid tests. Still seems to be good value though i think?

I agree, ideally the antibody test would be included in this too. Seems a shame that it's not.

That's great!😊I did wonder what their exciting news was! It was briefly touched on in their last email.

Just wish I didn't find the finger prick tests so difficult to undertake 😐

Yeah but I was a bit shocked at the £13 cost for it.

Still better value than other testing companies. And if I have to pay for my own tests, I'd prefer to support this lab.

Why this one over the others?

Run by the lab itself. No middle men taking a share of the profits which is why their prices are more competitive.

When I've bought tests I use Monitor My Health as it is firstly an NHS lab and so I'd hoped more likely my GP would accept them. Unfortunately he won't accept any private test results and I also now struggle doing the finger prick ones so sadly can't use MMH anymore.

That's true. I think I was just hoping to get them tested every time so I could track them more closely. Just out of curiosity! :D

Bear in mind also that energy costs will presumably impact testing labs too. So, this may be why it's a little more pricey than we'd previously have expected from this lab.
