Medication Change mid-Induction
Hello, I have renal limited vasculitis and am wondering if anyone has experience with a switch from Rituximab to Cyclophosphamide after 3 months of initial induction therapy? My first treatment that started almost 3 months ago was Rituximab with Prednisone. At first things were going well with eGFR

So the arrhythmia team contacted me yesterday to discuss the result of my ECG done at my local surgery . Apparently although the test showed an an abnormal pattern with wide QRS it was a minimal deviation and not any form of AF . It could be an age related change but my sinus rhythm was normal and the

Ramipril
Briefly, I was prescribed this by my consultant to help with the pumping function/blood flow through my left ventricle. It has definitely helped as shown by a follow echocardiogram, and my consultant pleased. However, I was warned by my GP that it might give me a cough.. and it most certainly has!

Increased thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) as a possible risk factor for atherosclerosis in subclinical hypothyroidism.
Have to admit, it is quite hard to read and I have not managed the entirety yet! But it does appear to read that even subclinical hypothyroidism might be important in itself - due to the increased TSH. [i]

Ahhhh well, I guess it could be worse!
It seems that my asthma plus,
CKD
means that a lot of pain relief is unsuitable. So, it’s a case of suck it up and adjust my life accordingly - something, thanks to my incredible husband and our family - that’s proving doable.

heart rate drop
Good evening, i had an ablation back in Jan-23 after being diagnosed with PAF in Oct-22. My avg resting bpm was always between mid high 50s-low 60s as I had exercised regular for all my adult life. I learnt its not uncommon to gain an 10-15 extra beats post ablation and my avg resting bpm did jump

Cod Liver Oil Supplements with Prednisolone
Been on prednisolone (UK) since 01/11/2022. I'm currently taking 3mgs/4mgs on alternate days. 3mgs was too much for me. Anyway if on pred, can we take cod liver oil supplements please? The tablets are ginormous so my husband has bought the liquid. Don't want to start unless it's OK to do so. Any opinions

My Update on Breathing and 02 SATs...
Thank you all that replied to my post - My SATS are not to blame for my Breathlessness - But something is and it's being sorted. I went to see my GP and my 02 SATs are normal for me, They go to 89 and even lower, but not consistently. I normally am 92 at the moment - but as I say can go lower. I
