Angiogram and Right Cath.

Exercise suggestions/plans/videos for Afib
It’s been awhile since I posted, although I do check the forum every day, so I have been following all the usual suspects and new arrivals. I was diagnosed at 65 in 2020 with PAF and really struggled to come to terms with my diagnosis as it was mid pandemic and also my mother had the same condition

Fluid restrictions ASCITES
My serum sodium is 137 mmol/L. Completely in normal range (133-146). I am taking spironolactone 300mg and furosemide 80mg. My question is how much do I need to restrict fluid intake for ascites due to cirrhosis?

Afib and bradicardia
Thanks for much for everyone's help on the low heart rate. Yesterday I was Rushed to hospital by ambulance because my heart rate was so low I'm still in hospital now on a ECG machine and it keeps going really low and it's super high and all the alarms going up.

My latest six-month review with a (2nd) locum.
Two days ago I arrived at my rheumatology clinic in good time for my appointment. Waiting for my name to be called I became increasingly concerned when people coming in after me were being called by the two consultants on duty. More than half an hour passed while I observed patients coming and going.

Actor Bruce Willis has received a further diagnosis of FTD - frontotemporal dementia
FTD - frontotemporal dementia is an umbrella term to include neurological diseases like PSP and CBD. I came up with a revised set of parody lyrics of the Beatle's Let It Be to include FTD, PSP & CBD. https://youtu.be/bRN-JPI7mJI Tim

I was just told I am 3a ckd and looking for guidance as the internet research has scared me
First I am not sure what I’m doing and very freaked out. I’m 49 years old and my primary care doctor told me there really isn’t much to do but sent me to a kidney specialist who told me I am stage 3a with a egfr of 56 today. Told me to drink lots of water, watch what I eat, get an ultrasound and come

Bisoprolol alternative to avoid cold extremities
Afternoon all, Despite 2 ablations my AFib episodes returned a year ago. Bisoprolol and flecainide seem to control it well, but I really struggled this winter with cold extremities. Despite plenty of layers, woollen socks, thick long skiing gloves I still have very cold fingers and toes. I tried

C25K - Target Pace?
After a false start a couple of years ago I have recently completed a c25k program. I was prompted to try it and get fit after a 'minor' heart attack in 2020 when I was 61, but I felt very vulnerable and frankly was scared of trying it. Jump forward a couple of years to 2023 and after a period of
