I had a heart attach 7.5 years ago. Now having had an episode of severe chest pain and a two night hospital stay - no troponin increase or iffy ecg, I’ve got to have a stress MRY on Monday and I’m absolutely terrified. Has anyone on here had one?

hi Jo if it’s the one where they inject you with a substance to make your heart rate increase then yes I’ve had one of those. I too was terrified- they monitor you closely and I was assured that everything was on hand to counteract any adverse effects of the drugs. If it’s the same as what I had the effect of the drug is over in a few seconds but it does feel a bit strange
