Azithromycin and Afib
I have an appointment today with my Primary Care Doctor for a sore throat and the pharmacist suggested Azithromycin might be a possibility as an antibiotic as I am allergic to
cipro
and penicillin but then I read Azithromycin may interact with a heart electrical problem.

Antibiotics?
If you have Pseudomonas but it appears to be dormant as no other symptoms, so no antibiotics given (but did have 6 weeks eradication of
cipro
weeks ago, but 2nd test showed it was still there) Does this mean that further damage is happening whilst we carry on with our lives? Hope that makes sense!

Doctors can’t figure it out, would appreciate some help/advice
prostate exam normal Ultra sound on testicles, small cyst (coincidental finding) X-ray on kidneys- negative for stones Urine same for kidney and bladder infections, unsure if that’s classified as uti or not, all negative Lymp nodes I believe to be swollen- physical exam to be normal Was proscribed

Frequent urination, every 20 minutes
So my husband went to urgent care, and was put on
Cipro
, a really strong antibiotic, which seems to be helping. He's never had a UTI before, and the urine test did not show anything, though they sent it out for the longer test.

RBC in urine
She gave me
cipro
which caused dizziness spell and vertigo. It turned out I did not have infection. I don't have stone in the kidney either. The urologist said it's very unlikely that I have bladder cancer but by protocol I need to be scoped. Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks, Jane

BR Expectations?
More recently, I have become neutropenic and my doctor has started me on
Cipro
as a prophylactic. I was wondering if those of you who have had this treatment could share what it was like for you?

What does CLL stand for?????
By the way, avoid fluoroquinolone antibiotics like
Cipro
, the damage they cause makes most diseases pale in comparison with head to toe devastation.

Here where i live we only have
cipro
in tablet so i have to crush it and mix with water. It doesn't taste very nice and my daughter keep refuseto take it. My specialist said if she doesn't take the
cipro
then we might have to do iv at hospital.

After taking Cipro 500, I have tendonitis. How long does it last after finishing course ?
I am now taking
Cipro
500. After 2 days I have tendonitis in one leg. Not painful but walk with a limp. Today is 4th day and I now have tendonitis in both legs. If anyone has suffered the same. Does condition get worse if I continue with medication ?

Fellow suffers. Here is my history. Everything that has happened with treatment.
In the year 2000-2001 I fell from a very high surface onto my coccyx bone, that same week I also got a very bad urinary track infection and was put on
cipro
and I also used tampons for the first time.

Can doctors miss PID?
Ive taken macrobid,
cipro
, doxycycline, and 2 rounds of levaquin...as well as metrogel and clindamycin cream...and a week of diflucan for yeast. I assume that if that all didn't cure this issue, then there's something more sinister causing all this. Can anyone relate?

Update... UTI symptoms but now no growth in urine culture.
They thought it was a kidney infection and gave me
cipro
. Inbetween this I had pelvic pain and noticed every time I had pelvic pain I had vaginal bleeding once when I urinated and the other time with a bowel movement. Is this a normal symptoma of a UTI?

Pseudomonas bug
I’ve just been on 6 weeks eradication treatment of
cipro
for Pseudomonas infection. A recent test shows it didn’t work. I’ve been to see my consultant today and he is referring me for twice daily nebulisers to do at home. I’m almost sure he said this will be forever.

Lupus Flair after taking
Cipro
. I have half-dollar sized whelps on my legs and one on my back. My pharmacist told me to stop the
Cipro
, but my family doctor said to continue taking it. I have gotten more spots and some of the large whelps have water filled blisters.
