So a little question. If you have Pseudomonas but it appears to be dormant as no other symptoms, so no antibiotics given (but did have 6 weeks eradication of cipro weeks ago, but 2nd test showed it was still there)
Does this mean that further damage is happening whilst we carry on with our lives?
Hope that makes sense!

Don’t know what happened as my reply disappeared before l had finished. Was going to say when they found it did you need antibiotics? If not then it is probably lying dormant. I have worried about it a lot but try to put it to the back of my mind. Look after yourself and talk to your GP if you are worried.x
Hi, when it was found I went in 6 weeks of cipro to see if they could eradicate it. After the cipro finished I sent in another sample but it was still there.
As I didn’t have any other symptoms it was left at that.
Just wondering if damage is happening whilst I don’t take anything else for it?
I can't take Cipro, it gives me Tendonitis. But I have been admitted to hospital for 14 days with intravenous Tazocin. The last time I had Pseudo AND Pneumonia. Tazocin didn't work so was put on Meropenham, but still had Sepsis and was also on Oxygen for 5 days. That was 3 years ago, and I haven't had any problems since. I do take Carbocisteine, Braltas, Fostair, Salbutamol. I nebulise with saline, and use a Salitair salt pipe. Not even seeing a consultant now!
