PSA 35
My prostate was slightly enlarged and she put me on a round of
cipro
for prostatitis. Still having weak stream so I went to urologist Thursday. My prostate is still enlarged, but had no lumps, bumps or hard places. However, my PSA came back at 35.

5 month update... still a mixed bag! Cholesterol??
If you search for tendon damage causes the only 2 medications listed are Statins and Quinolone antibiotics of which
Cipro
is one... lucky me huh. So I've not been taking Statins for weeks, I imagine I've had maybe 2 months on in the last 5 months.

The Uro put me on two weeks of
Cipro
, but wanted to repeat the PSA just in case. One week later (after starting
Cipro
) I got my results back at 7.79 on 26 Sep. We waited until 23 Oct 17 and did another PSA which was 6.15.

However that said, I've had what seemed to be a UTI, burning urine, slight clear discharge (again neg on sti) which cleared itself up with cranberry juice and

Pseudomonas flare up
Prescribed
cipro
and it seemed to help. I noticed 2 weeks ago brown discolorations and was prescribed
cipro
again. Just finished it a couple of days ago. Is there anyway to tell if it's under control?

New To The Site
They hooked me up to an IV and pumped me full of Vancomycin and
Cipro
for 10 days. My leg was blistering and draining so much that serous fluid was leaking through the skin and I had to have my dressings changed every hour because they were saturated.

Hi I am new here.
I have fibro and other things, including being Floxed by
Cipro
this year. Fibro was the thief that stole my life. My career, my sport, my income, my relationship, my farm, my athleticism, my mind, my volunteer work, my ability to be social.

Concerned daughter - bronchieactasis
She's always kind of managed, taking antibiotics when she's had an infection, but recently, she had 4 weeks of
cipro
, which didn't help and started causing tendonitis, was told by her gp to go to a and e as she's so chesty, and full of crackles.

Unknown Medical Condition Feeling Hopeless
I went to my doctors and had a rectal exam and told it seemed normal ,was given
Cipro
for 2 weeks and told if it doesn't clear up to seek out my nearest GUM clinic. It never went away so off I went to the clinic .

Negative test
The aching never went so went back to the Dr who doubted any infection but gave me
cipro
again which hasn't cleared it. I do suffer anxiety and an active lifestyle. Any help would be great.

PSP HELL HELL HELL
He has a UTI and was on
CIPRO
which caused hallucinations (or was it the UTI?) new meds today and he's wild. Thinks he can walk. Fell into the wall and broke the oxygen machine, have a new one now. Don't know what will be next. Hospice can't seem, or want to, understand PSP.

Itching (I know it is redundant)
A recent antibiotic treatment of
Cipro
has set me off. I am blessed in that I don't live with itching all the time. But when I do get bouts of it, I feel as if I need to be put an psyc. restraints. I have tried the Colestyramine, Benadryl, "ice" topical, and cold packs.

Lucky, lucky, 😁
I mean I have an enlarged spleen, HepC, chronic Gastro problems from the
Cipro
I was given, - I had C-Diff from hell for 3 years; finally got a cure with a fecal transplant, overnight! Kidney certainly seems to be letting me down now though.

So afraid. Pseudomas aureginosa
I'm on
Cipro
. I'm absolutely terrified. The internet has nothing but horrible stories and outcomes. I have anxiety disorder and ocd so I'm really having a hard time. I'm so hoping someone else can relate and offer some advice.
