Feeling Miserable!!!
It's almost like having 2 lives - when
cimzia
works it really work and I can almost forget that I've got ra, but it runs out, this time I got 11 days and I am now fed up of morning stiffness, but I have a dull ache in my knees, in particular the right knee. Had it all day.

On Cimzia, CRP/ESR now near normal, so why are all my joints worse than ever? Anyone else had this?
In spite of good blood results for the first time in 15 months, RA is more active than ever, I feel really poorly, pain, swelling, stiffness, muscle weakness, mobility are all increasingly bad. Wondered if anyone else had had a similar experience? And is it likely to improve anytime soon?

Restart of RA medication after an operation
CIMZIA
will have to wait another 3 weeks at least, I was told. Has anybody been in a similar situation? Are there things I should watch out for? Luckily my RA hasn't flared up a lot even after being off the meds for two weeks! Thanks in advance for your replies.

Cimzia update
Well, I'm due for my 2nd dose of
cimzia
tomorrow... The 1st was ok - didn't hurt at all but I did feel sick and light-headed and 'strange' the next day, as I said in my last blog. That lasted for 2 or 3 days and then I felt really well.

I'M BECOMING A NITE TIME BLOGGER!!!
However since starting
Cimzia
(anti tnf), it has meant that I now no longer sleep during the day - not for long any way or other wise I can't sleep at nite, due the amount of energy I have of late. I was also awake last nite 1.30 - 5.15 am. I should of come down and blogged last nite also.

CIMZIA!!!
Hi All Had my first of 3 loading dose this afternoon. I did both injections in my tummy - my preferred area and they did not hurt or sting. Got a slight headache soon after and I've been a sleep all afternoon. Just had dinner and I am heading back to bed. I was aprehensive at the start, but

Feeling weird
I took my first loading dose of
Cimzia
last night. The injections didn't bother me - an old hand at it now - but I do feel sort of weird. I can't explain it.

Hi! I've developed an itchy rash / dermatitis while taking Leflunomide and Cimzia (Certolizumab-Pegol) anti-tnf in combination for 10 mths.
Stopped
Cimzia
to see if it clears - been on Leflunomide for 6 years, no problems. Rash very slowly clearing. Will have to re-try
Cimzia
to see if it reappears I guess! Have told GP and RA Consultant. Anyone else experienced this? thanks!

Bad day - Just tired of fighting
I'm waiting to start on
Cimzia
after failing on Enbrel and then an unsuccessful attempt on Humira so that is probably not helping. I feel constantly fluey and completely knackered. I think I may be in the early stages of the menopause so that doensn't help either.

Newbie to the site but old hand at dealing with RA. This is my story...
However, Enbrel failed at the beginning of this year and, after trying Humira for 4 months, my Biologics nurse has recommended I change to
Cimzia
which I begin in 4 weeks. I'm by no means well.

question about health care plans
Things are going down hill (I'm flairing and in much more pain than I have been in the past) and my rheumy wants to put me on a biologic (
cimzia
). With the private insurance plans here in the US, I have a high deductible and have to pay $1200.00 for my prescription to be filled.
