cimzia injections

hi , I don’t know what to do, I was due my fortnightly injection last Monday, but I have had awful pain in my tummy area where I usually have it, so I’ve been putting it off,

I have a very large cyst in my liver 18cm across, and I wonder if it is squashing that area,

My next appointment with the liver consultant is on 14th sept

Any help would be appreciated, thank you

can you do it somewhere else? I never do my injection in the same area. Have a look at the pil to see where you can do it ( assuming you’ve not been told not to do it)

Thank you, I forgot you can do it in your thigh too 🤦‍♀️. I’m so useless .

You can inject into you thigh or anywhere in the tummy. Your not useless, you are human!!!All the best and I hope you'll have a successful appointment with your liver consultant.

Thank you so much, I’ve just always done in in my tummy area , alternating sides 3 inch from my belly button, the rhumy nurse told me,

I do my Cimzia injections in my thigh, I have never injected any of my meds in my stomach.

yes I did, the first time I’ve done it in my leg, and it is more painful that’s for sure 😥
