I have recently started cimzia, having had RA for several yearsIt is 4 days since I had the first dose and feel overwhelmed by it.

Does it wear off?

I' m not sure what you mean by overwhelmed .What symptoms do you have ?

My head thrums, I feel separated from my surroundings, sometimes it feels as though I am looking through thick glass. Uncomfortable.

I started on it nearly 10 yrs ago , so my memory's a bit hazy, but I can't recall having any reaction like that. I suggest you contact the rheumatology team ASAP.

I have never had side effects like that from my Cimzia injections. Please contact your rheumatology team for advice.

I’ve been on Cimzia for 10+ yrs and have never experienced anything like that, contact your rheumatologist for advice.

It looks like a few of us have been on CIMZIA, me included. I never had those symptoms. Sounds like proper fatigue to me. I hope it will pass soon.

I’ve been on cimzia for almost two years and have never had the symptoms you describe. Usually just a bit of fatigue for 24-36 hours. Currently have a backache but not sure it’s due to cimzia (or that it isn’t). I also think you should contact your doctor, and we’ll be interested to hear what happens! All the best…
