Okay so I started Cimzia a month ago for ankloysing spondylitis. I've been on my period every since. Has anyone else ever experienced this female problem on biologics? I messaged my Rhemotoligist and set an appointment for my Ongyn. But still concered

I can't see an obvious serious connection between the two. The bleeding needs to be investigated separately with an open mind for the cause which is more likely to be gynaecological.

My daughter is on Enbrel since 2010, she developed bilateral Ovarian dermoid cysts in 2015 very very large cysts too. She had them removed. And now they are growing back again and will need a Op again soon. All she wants to do is plan to have a baby, but I don't know what she is going to do about having a baby? she is 32 now.

Omg I'm sorry about your daughter. That's horrible. I Hope it all gets fixed. When I went to the Obgyn they couldn't find any reason for the bleeding. Which makes me still think it's the medication. We were also trying to conceive which is why I am on Cimzia due to it being safe during pregnancy. But I am now having to get a IUD put in to stop the bleeding. All my Drs. have said cimzia does not cause this problem. But unfortunately I've never had this problem until I started the Cimzia. So idk.... Prayers for your daughter.
