Strange đ±foot and hand side effects while on capecitabine/Xeloda.
I am a POC (son schooled me saying it means person of color â millennials!). Well I am a Black woman with MBC. I have had unusual horrible experiences while on Xeloda! Instead of getting blisters and burns on feet and hands the bottom of my feet are darkened turning the color black â«ïžand so are my hands

Xofigo or Chemo?
Chemotherapy
. Tough choice but the Zytiga is not working. Meanwhile he accepted my suggestion to try the SLASH /Lu177 clinical trial as long as it doesn't have a late start. Of course I need to get accepted... ...if not, any pros /cons if going Xofigo vs Chemo ??

Does each remission get shorter?
My first recurrence has been confirmed after one year of remission. I think I'll be given more chemo. I know some women have had many recurrences, each one treated as well as possible. If you achieve a second, or third, or fourth remission, is it usually for a shorter period each time? Thanks, all.

save my tooth update
I was so worried about getting in to get the tooth pulled. But my regular dentist will pull it this afternoon, so I will be able to have chemo next week. I swear, that man is a saint. Anyway, I am so relieved and I want to thank my teal sisters for helping me with this problem. Sashay

A hypothetical question regarding going castrate resistant.
I was having a debate with a friend who believes that once you go castrate resistant while on Orgovyx, you will never reverse that without second generation meds, or any further treatment like radiation, chemo, or Pluvicto. This is assuming the prostrate had been surgically removed. The basic question

Too soon to be concerned?
My profile has background info., but, been getting bloodwork every one to two weeks lately as WBC count hasn't come back to normal since final chemo (Oct 24, 2022) and restarted abiraterone about 6 weeks ago. Since I've been getting CBC and CMP each time, I also get PSA tested. The past 2 weeks my

The results of my husbandsâs bone marrow biopsy shows that the prostate cancer is widespread in his bone marrow and are causing him to have low blood cell levels. He was told he could to chemo with a low level dose of Taxo or go to hospice. I am sharing so people have info on end of life choices.

save my tooth or stick to treatment schedule?
Iâm in a bit of a quandary. My January 27th chemo has been postponed until February 10th. My rear molar has infection and needs root canal retreatment. However, I canât be examined by endodontist until February 6th. Not sure when treatment would be. I could have the tooth pulled next week. But then I

High Creatinine
Hi Ladies, From two months now I have my level of creatinine going up (130). It's probabely due to toxicity of all my previous treatments. Despite of drinking a lot (2 l per day) it doesn't drop. Today I have a CT with contrast which my kidneys will have to metabolise. As my cancer progresses very

PSA staying down--would any kind of scan be helpful?
Hello: For starters----my PSA went down to .01---July 2022,. Oct 2022 it was less than <.01 and January 2023 it again is <.01. My last Nuclear bone scan was May 2022 and the bone mets were still pretty bright on my scan. I do not have bone pain, and I feel good, most days. I started on Xtandi in

I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 3 in may 2021 I underwent a hysterectomy followed my chemo and in nov 2021 was told I was in remission. I am on PARPS treatment now and when I asked of the chances of the Cancer reoccurring I was told 75%. I am back at full time work now and am 62 years old.

BEST PORT LOCATION FOR CHEMO?
I may be starting Chemo in a couple of weeks? Meeting with MO after latest PSMA PET Scan, showing probable Apalutamide/Lupron failure. After a 3 month rise from 0.1 to 0.6, he ordered a scan & hinted at Chemo next. Found resolution of old mets. but some new ones. At any rate, although I am 74, I
