Does triplet Therapy still work if you've failed Enza?
As most posters know the UK doesn't allow for other 'mides' once you've failed Xtandi (as I have done) But I am considering buying Abi from India to add to my Lupron and Docetaxel. Has anyone had success with Abi after Xtandi failure? Is the triplet therapy likely to work for me? And does it have to

Essential Thrombocythaemia PIP?
Hi just thought would say hi as not been on for awhile 😊 I’m considering applying for PIP … I’ve had ET now for 27 years CALR… chemo for 22 years. I’ve had to reduce my hours and leave my job as an NHS Paramedic… fatigue was killing me and just had to leave. I’m a trainer now working part time, money

My husband was dx with a grade 4 glioblastoma wild type Feb 2023. Since then the full round of chemo and radiation and 3 five day cycles of TMZ. we started to taper down the steroids to 1 mg but he was sleeping 21 hours a day. His repeat scan showed increased swelling with a midline shift. His steroids

After your endometrial cancer diagnosis, did you do any research? If so, where did you find the most useful information about your cancer?
I was diagnosed in 2015 with Stage 1A Grade 3 endometrial cancer. I had a robotic hysterectomy, with BSO and removal of 16 lymph nodes, followed by 6 rounds chemo and 5 of brachytherapy. After chemo, I was followed with CT scans every 6 months until 2018. From that point, I have not had a recurrence

Hello everyone, I had a GBM stage 4. Had surgery in August Sept 22. I had 80% tumur removed. Had radiation and Chemo, I am on my second lot of Chemo upto November I think. So with MRI's. Last 2 has stayed the same no growth. I find it quite hard to stop sugars and carbs. I need dark chocolate now

Interesting PSA observation
For my prostate cancer journey, please see my bio. In 06/2023 I was also diagnosed with testicle lymphoma, maybe as a side effect of earlier radiation. Testicle has been removed, PET/CT & co showed no other evidence of cancer. So I perform four cycles of R-CHOP chemo regimen. Why I post this here? After

Does anyone know about immunotherapy?
My partner has been diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer and has liver cirrhosis child b, doctors say it's inoperable and chemo not an option, my partner has also suffered from undiagnosed cdiff for 8 months so is weak and lost lot of muscle mass. But nobody has mentioned immunotherapy to us and I don't

Verzenio and gray hair
This is a strange question! Has anyone noticed less graying of their hair since taking Verzenio? After my chemo and total hair loss, my new hair growth was salt & pepper colored, mostly gray looking. So when it was long enough I started getting my hair colored brown as I did precancer. A year later

Radium223 has not been a success, is Enzalutamide a good next option?
Stage 4 PCA for last 3 years. Had 6 cycles of Chemo and then Abiraterone for 18+ months (PSA dropped to 0.2 then more recently rose to 58 in June '23 ). Abiraterone eventually stopped working and I was able to join Radium 223 trial. Completed 5 of 6 cycles of Radium 223, then elected to stop since

Triplet Therapy Failed. Now what?
Doctor started with hormonal treatment while waiting for him to regain some strength, added Abiraterone (Zytiga) and Docetaxel
chemotherapy
as soon as his body could handle it effectively starting triplet therapy.

Had my 2nd appt with my Haematologist today
She said it is not really like main stream
chemotherapy
and the small risk is worth it to give me a good quality hopefully long life free from a debilitating stroke etc.

After that, he started

with DOCETAXEL as the oncologist declared he was castration resistant. Since then, he had 3 rounds of
chemotherapy
and although he seemed to respond well at the very beginning, his PSA went up since this month (it was 10 by the end of March, and 23 now).

Hi I was deemed inoperable after 4 rounds of
chemotherapy
. I had a diagnostic camera, and was sent back to have 2 further
chemotherapy
treatments. During this time I decided to go for a second opinion with Professor Christine Fotopoulou, as she was recommended to me.
