Stage 4 PCA for last 3 years. Had 6 cycles of Chemo and then Abiraterone for 18+ months (PSA dropped to 0.2 then more recently rose to 58 in June '23 ). Abiraterone eventually stopped working and I was able to join Radium 223 trial. Completed 5 of 6 cycles of Radium 223, then elected to stop since scans showed mets still progressing and bone pains was brutal (PSA has continued to rise and is now 113 as of August '23).
Now doctors are suggesting that possible option is to switch onto Xtandi/Enzalutamide. Anyone in the same or similar situation? Any advice would be welcomed .... Thanks

this was another option that was proposed to me, however, it's madly expensive and I don't have insurance cover. Looking into costs of ordering Enzalutamide from existing supplier in India
you might try calling here. If they don’t offer financial support, perhaps they know of trials or other ways of receiving it. us.pluvicto.com/patient-sup...
I had 4 years of success with Zytiga + Prednisone. When it failed I switched to Xtandi but without high expectations. Somewhere I had found a study that said only about one out of six men who made that switch had success. I have never been able to find that study since but my personal result was that my PSA continued to rise. Consequently I started Taxotere chemo treatments which worked well but are starting to lose their effectiveness. I have been considering switching to Pluvicto or to Cabazalbaxel. I wish you the best of luck with your warrior's journey.
Thanks for the comments. Very helpful. The chemo I started off with was with Docetaxel/Taxotere and that was a success. After that I was put on Zytiga + Prednisone. The 5 Radium cycles I've had has left me quite weakened physically, so bit concerned that Cabazitaxel might be too much of a strained on the body. It's also wildly expensive so not sure if I can financially handle this. Will add you to my Follow list. Be interested to see how you progress. Good luck,
