Day 2 Enhertu infusion
The first day the infusion protocols went very smoothly. Received saline fluids first, 3 premeds for nausea etc. then the Enhertu. No pain no side effects. My infusion nurse suggested a port for me. My vein in my arm is scarred. So port it is. I am drinking 💦 and eating light carrots 🥕 🍦 🥗! No nausea

Recurrence in spleen
Had chemo and debulking surgery 2 years ago. Stage 3 HGS OC. 1st recurrence 3 months ago with lesions in spleen and peritoneum. Consultant advises watch and wait and does not advise splenectomy. CA125 76, no symptoms. Just wondering if anyone out there has lesions in their spleen and what treatment

Could this be the start of neuropathy?
I had my first Docetaxel infusion 6 days ago. Due to the Dexamethasone before and the Prednisone since, I have been really well. In the gym most days, and eating really well. I have had no side effects - until today. It's a minor thing, but both thumbs are a little sore. It's not a tingling sensation

When to introduce ADT after RP failure
I'm progressing well on Triplet Therapy coming up 12 months after Chemo and comparing myself to my brothers situation. He doesn't belong on this advanced prostate group but I hope his cancer does not advance to the point that he does! Diagnoses Biochemical failure following radical prostatectomy

Help please!! Rucaparib to Letrozole.
Hi everyone. Hope all you warriors are doing well. I wondered if any of you have any words of wisdom for us? My mum was diagnosed in May 2019, had chemo and debulking surgery, which worked amazingly well. Sadly, reoccurred within 10months of being NED. Again, had Chemo and secondary debulking. Mum

Back Pain after Chemo?
My wife recently started IV Carboplatin and she’s experienced excruciating lower back and hip pain for the first few days after her treatment (AUC6 dosing, once every 3 weeks). She has numerous pelvic metastases as well as chronic stenosis in her lower back. We’re struggling to try to determine whether

Pluvicto side effects…
… are kicking my butt. I have my third round next week. I’m more fatigued than with chemo, bone pain, can’t eat, constipation — all the stuff. I’m even more concerned now because I was Rx-ed oxycodone and have increasingly been turning to that for temporary physical relief. I’m starting to think maybe

Small Cell Carcinoma Prostate Cancer Help
He has been treated with
chemotherapy
for the last 4 months and his second scan came back with mixed results. His oncologist at Weil has said that chemo is not working and he should consider other alternatives. We are trying to see Dr. Beltran at Dana Farber and Dr. Matthew at Tufts.

Sorry I have not posted for a while
I am really sorry no one has heard from me for a while. Sadly I have not been too well being struck down with a nasty coughing /flu like virus( not Covid). So last chemo was postponed. On top of this my haemoglobin has dropped to 68! So I am completely exhausted. Blood transfusion tomorrow so hopefully

UPDATE on Abdominal distension.
Some may remember my post a few days ago. I was experiencing some abdominal distension, which I suspected maybe ascites. However, my GP assured me there was no ascites and I probably had diverticulitis.I took the advice of the kind ladies who responded to me. I was admitted to hospital yesterday with

CA125 plus MRI = trouble (despite contrary advice)
Hi All, this is from the Uk - good old NHS! My positivity is slipping! No, I WILL keep a PMA😌 I’m off on holiday soon 😁 but…. The story so far is too long - briefly, 4th line finished end of May. Just got blood results and CA125 has jumped from 23 to 293! Now, the midpoint CT scan showed partial
