PMR and Celebrex
Why doesn't some of the anti-inflammatory drugs like
celebrex
work for pmr? Seems like they would be less harmful to the body.

Update: dramatic response from the chemotherapy
Metformin starting from 1000 mg and ramping up to 3000 mg per day - Received from 50 to 100 g of IV vitamin C in between of the chemotherapy infusions (once a week on average) - Took anti-inflammatory drugs (I have Ankylosing Spondylitis that flared badly after Docetaxel infusions): Indomethacin then

New here 🙋🏼‍♀️
I take Hydroxychloroquine, leflunomide, prednisolone, DHEA,
Celebrex
the usual mix plus warfarin for APS. When dysphagia became severe the rheumatologist acted. It takes a couple of bounces to stand up and i need a crutch or stick for balance.

Foot and Ankle Pain
I’m on methotrexate,
Celebrex
, folic acid, prednisone 5 mg as needed. I have spent a lot of money on shoes and inserts, with no relief. I appreciate any help I can get.

Questions regarding a lupron/Zytega “vacation” and regarding Zometa with Celebrex.
Tall Allen showed me a link to evidence that Zometa and
Celebrex
together for some reason reduced prostate cancer recurrence by about 22%.

Occasional Celebrex whilst on Eliquis?
I realise that anticoagulants and NSAIDS should not be taken together due to risk of bleeding, but I have read some studies stating that
Celebrex
has the lowest incidence of bleeding. Just wondering if anyone has opinions on if it would be OK to take Celebex occasionally for these flareups.

What Dosages are Recommended?
My wife and I have researched a lot about what to do after chemo and from posts here and research papers it seems that the following are all meds I should take: atorvastatin,
celebrex
, metformin, zolandronic acid and quercetin. But what doses are recommended?

11 weeks post ablation. Still have chest pain.
Now they added imdur and
celebrex
. Could it be all the meds? Reflux? Stress? Normal ablation recovery? I would like some answers but no one seems able to give to me. I feel silly now when I go back to hospital. But with chest pain going down left arm what else do I do?

Does anyone split Enbrel dose? Example 25mg twice weekly.
I can only shift this headache with a
Celebrex
(my occasional big guns pain relief)Nothing else touches it. It's a once a week thing lately on the day after my shot. I did stop Enbrel for a 6 month period while trying Benepali, but switched back to Enbrel 5 or so months ago.

Undiagnosed - Rheumatology Consult February 6th
She prescribed
Celebrex
, which helped so much.... but only a 30 day supply that runs out on the 19th of January... Should I call to get the prescription extended until I see the specialist or should I show up to the consult in pain and miserable so they know I mean business? I'd appreciate input.

Doctor thinks it’s lupus
I’m now on
Celebrex
, robaxin, Methylprednisolone And decara for vitamin D deficiency. So far I have inflammation of the colon and liver. Let’s see how things go.

Horrible back and hip pain!
I've had injections, lots of meds including muscle relaxers- tramedol-
Celebrex
, living on a Heating pad. Last night, had an MRI of lumbar spine that showed nothing significant. Could this be a relapse?? Thanks for any assistance! I can't drive or sleep.

Questions (always)
Ya know, if we were allowed to supplement prednisone with something like mobic or
Celebrex
things would go a lot smoother, just my opinion...I'm all for tapering down, but it comes with increased pain and stiffness it seems..maybe I'm not being patient enough...

Introduction to a Little Old Lady
Awhile later I was taken off Zoloft (had been taking for about 10 years) and treated with Cymbalta plus
Celebrex
for pain. Cymbalta helps with depression and some pain. I didn’t think the
Celebrex
helped until I DIDN’T take it and found out that it does relieve somewhat.

Encouragement
I have been plodding along ok on MTX 20mg and sulphazalaine,
Celebrex
and targin when needed. Anyway bloods are all ok, apart from elevated albumin. I am about to move house tomorrow and I feel that my body is refusing to participate.

celebrex
I am quite worried as when I read about them on the internet as I couldn't understand why he had told me to stop taking my cholesterol tablets whilst taking the
Celebrex
and found a site saying not to take at over 65 years old and can cause problems with blood pressure of which I take blood pressure

Celebrex - taken first dose now waiting in terror to see if I die!
So hospital has prescribed
Celebrex
. I'm a bit wary as I had a reaction to sulfalazine. GP says she has only given me two weeks because of this. I have very high cholesterol but GP says it's still okay to take the
Celebrex
.

Xeljanz vs cimzia
I already have high cholesterol, taking prednisone Imuran gold Injections and
celebrex
. I don't know much about either xeljanz or cimzia so that's why I'm asking here and hoping ppl will share experience with them if ever taken.

Epidural injections
My concern is the addition of these injections in addition to my current use of anti-inflammatory meds - daily prednisone,
Celebrex
, Flector patch, and the recent addition of Cimzia, a biologic for RA.

Ha e been taking
Celebrex
and Targin 10/5 I cant cope without it at the moment. Does this mean that the MTX has failed? My Rheumatologist said that if this fails I will need to go on DMARS. Is there no alternatives. Thank you
