Does anyone else take these nsaids. My doctor has given me these to help me walk and exercise a little more to lose some weight as my feet are so painful with osteoarthritis & nerve problems along with the same in my back. They are helping a lot and I am using my exercise bike twice a day for 10 mins each time and walking for 3/4 of an hour as well as cutting down on my food. I have had 2 months on them now I am not sure how long I will be taking them. I am quite worried as when I read about them on the internet as I couldn't understand why he had told me to stop taking my cholesterol tablets whilst taking the Celebrex and found a site saying not to take at over 65 years old and can cause problems with blood pressure of which I take blood pressure tablets along with thyroid tablets as I have a slow thyroid. I don't want my cholesterol building up and am a little worried anyone with any advice or in a similar situation please let me know thankyou

Thank you for posting Hidden - we recommend you call up your GP and ask them about this, as this is the sort of thing they will be able to quickly look into for you and advise. It is important to remind your clinicians of any medication you have been taking or were taking before, as they might want to change your prescription to make sure it's all in balance.

We wish you all the best and a big well done for getting more active and having a better diet! It sounds like you are following the self-management for improving your overall health, to the letter and we are very pleased to hear of all this good progress :)
