Solgar Hawthorn Berry Capsules ? Has anybody taken these ?
Does anybody take any of these capsules? I would really like to hear from people, as to how the capsules helped them and how they got on with them ? I recently started to take the Solgar 484mg Berry Powder . They stopped my symptoms immediately. Ie:- Palpitations, (mostly in the night), occasional fast

sharp electrical like pain
I experienced two sharp and sudden pains in left upper chest recently. We I say pain but more really unusual sensations lasting say 3-5 seconds. Only thing similar , but different in location and duration, was about a year ago with pain more diffuse in location but again electrical like feeling. That

My first post after lurking a good while and sorry if it is over long, I am very confused at present, being diagnosed has been such a shock. In feb 2022 I spent 3 days in hospital with Afib and high blood pressure (180/104) no symptoms or pain etc, discharged with bisoprolol, ramipril and rivaroxaban

Post cryoablation
I had my ablation on Friday 16th Dec 2022.Everything went fine but I was on the operating table for about 5 hours. I have a narrowing in my oesophagus so access was difficult. Anyway I had bad chest pains on the Monday night so went to A&E where I had blood tests which found I had a rising Cardiac Troponin

Brachycardia
Please, has this ever happened to anyone on the forum? All day I felt like I was trying to go into afib but with a different twist. I noticed during the day several times HR went down to 43 then later in the evening I noticed my oximeter showed 39 then 37, 35 then 32 lowest I've ever seen it. I freaked

The Relationship between RLS and Heart Disease
Hi, All. A number of folks mentioned that, in addition to RLS, they suffered from other ailments, some of which also are incurable and painful. I empathized with all, sometimes feeling both fortunate and guilty that I "only" had RLS. Looks like I needn't feel fortunate or guilty any longer. [i]

something is working 😊
My cardioversion did not work Tuesday And all I have are sore ribs etc. from the three shocks. However, I will take sunshine when I can get it. I was put on the Digoxen Tuesday afternoon at the hospital. My heart rate has dropped since then and just now it was 70. I have not seen 70 this entire year

Covid Treatment besides antivirals?
My husband tested positive for covid this morning and is on an antiviral medication. I emailed my EP and asked if I would be able to take an antiviral if I should catch it from my husband. Because my medications include Xarelto, Atorvastatin and Digoxin , he said he would not want me on an antiviral

Silent AFib
Silent Arterial Fibrillation in a73 year old male with a normal heart rate (between 75-85 generally). Unfortunately it's permanent! Seeking advice from others in this same boat for thoughts of what to do or what they are doing/planning on as a treatment ? One specialist say Ablation. The next

It's 5 days until Christmas...
... but we're reminding everyone to not stress! This time of the year can often cause stress and anxiety which is known to lead to an increased heart rate and so it's important to remember to take a step back and breath slowly and deeply. Why not have a look at our Mindfulness booklet for inspiration

Pulsating Stomach1
I've been having breathing difficulties for months. Lung hyperinflation, chest X ray says. Everything else normal, I mean Spiro, ECG, Echo. Chest feels tight, as if some pressure is on it, and because of it I can't take a full breathe, making me feel breatheless, always, without fail, worse at night.

Interesting Morning
I am recovering from a severe gastroenteritis episode. Very tough. Lost 6 pounds in weight in a week.. on a very bland diet. So, this morning after I woke at 7 am and sat up in bed for a little while. Over the next hour my heart had lots of ectopics, went in and out of A Fib twice, and had tachycardia

Looking after your heart during the festive season
Christmas is a time where we tend to over indulge with food and alcohol. This can trigger an irregular 💚 rhythm also known as Holiday Heart... So take a moment to think about your heart health this Christmas, try not to over indulge, and be sensible! - drink plenty of water to keep hydrated - minimise
