Cryoablation and recovery so far - my experience
Later the next day I spoke with two women who also had ablation the same day as I and they told me that they were awake and basically felt the procedure, not the
catheter
, just the

The entire world is in an anxiety meltdown particularly in America! Hearts don't go out of rhythm for no reason
Having had 10 cardioversions and two ablations that left me a shell of my former self and medically traumatised me and damaged my heart, I implore you all to look deeper within yourself and attend to any old trauma from childhood any time in your life that has contributed to your carrying fear worry

Post Catheter Ablation
I'm 72, fit, considered generally healthy, although I had an ablation 7 days ago. It went 'smoothly' according to the electrophysiologist. This treatment came as a choice after 2 years of Paroxysmal AF episodes. My symptoms were very pronounced. The 'pill in the pocket' didn't really help me. However

Fear and despair AV-Node may not help with my problem
Dear forum community, I have a question and at the same time I am very concerned about the answer. For more than 10 years I suffered from PAV which came more and more often and is always very symptomatic. The worst part for me is the feeling in my chest, the pounding and the feeling that can best be

Sore throat after ablation
I had my second cardiac ablation two days ago. The procedure took about three hours under GA and a cardioversion put me straight back into sinus rhythm. Since then, both my heart rate and blood pressure have been perfect and the wound in my groin is healing well. Long may they remain so! My concern is

Pace and Ablate update
It has now been seven months since I had my AV node ablation following having a pacemaker fitted in March and I thought I would just let you know how things are now. Hopefully this will also help those of you who may have to have the Pace and Ablate procedure next year. Whilst it has taken all of this

Tachycardia post RF ablation
Has anyone experienced tachycardia in the months after an SVT RF cardiac ablation? If so, how long till it subsided? Or what meds were you taking?

AF back again post ablation !
I’m now 3 months post
catheter
ablation
! I had a routine echocardiogram done in March 2022 with positive news a couple week later in April, my heart is back in its normal state of health from the images, possibly meaning the mild cardiomyopathy was actually myocarditis?

Dr Wolf and the Maze procedure
No info was given as to whether the patients had previously had any other type of
catheter
ablation
. So this was all Dr Wolf sent me and, obviously, it does not refer to his self-named procedure only (or even at all).

Cardiac Ablation completed.
Just a small note this Friday afternoon to thank all of the responders on here for their kind support. Had my ablation on Wednesday, general anaesthetic due to having a TOE. My EP noted aberrant impulses from the pulmonary veins so they were dealt with. Overnight stay and now home for rest. My
