Living with a pacemaker after AV Node Ablation
I'm wondering about what others might be or have experienced with being fully on a pacemaker after AV Node Ablation. I've had several adjustments to the Rate Response settings this last year, but still find that not much movement or activity on my part makes me feel like my heart is racing and I'm

I meant to say my final ablation was a AV Node ablation after my previous 3 ablations.

Ectopic beats almost 25% with much esophagus burn and some nausea.
Hi All, I had a
catheter
Rf and balloon PVI
ablation
, both atria, in 2022 and have been pretty much afib free ever since. That said, I have been having PACs immediately after the ablation sometimes going up to 10% for a day or two.

Flecainide stopped working
I have been on Flecainide for years & my AF well controlled. Now it has started to cause other arrhythmias so I have to stop it This happened a few years ago & as soon as it was stopped my AF occurred regularly & made me feel very unwell I was able then to restart it but this time it’s not possible

My First Pacemaker Followup
Today was my first real follow up with my EP since the fitting of my pacemaker and AV node ablation done on February 13 and 27th. I have not been feeling 100% although much much better than before all of this. I guess I expected more not realizing other things are in play with me and it’s not just

Should I have a catheter ablation?
I have a cardiologist phone appt on 25th July and my GP has suggested
catheter
ablation
. Am I a suitable candidate for that? I've read that sometimes they can't find the AF during procedure. Just want rid of PAF as its affecting my quality of life now. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Cryoablation and recovery so far - my experience
Later the next day I spoke with two women who also had ablation the same day as I and they told me that they were awake and basically felt the procedure, not the
catheter
, just the
ablation
.

Cross Roads
Once again I seem to be at a cross roads on my AF journey. I have been on Sotalol for some while but recently I have been having fairly frequent episodes of AF which last for quite a while, sometimes days. Because of this I had a second ablation at the end of November but unfortunately, if anything

AV node ablation on Friday...getting a touch nervous!!
Having had 3 years of cancelling just about everything planned. Being unable to walk and talk , get up the stairs ....etc. plus innumerable trips to Leeds LGI and York. I find myself A few days away from an AV node ablation, following a CRTP insertion at the beginning of January. In one way it can't
