Ectopic Snowball Effect
Positive stress test, potentially false positive according to the cardiologist, due to elevated blood pressure(white coat) during the test (they gave me
cardizem
before the test. They wouldn't go through with it until my BP was down.) The PVC's are much, much less than the 11% now.

Pace and Ablate for Persistent A fib - Your Experiences?
Hi Whilst in hospital over Christmas, it was decided upon a pace and ablate for my a fib which is now persistent and has given me cardiac decompensation. However, there was a U turn and the consultants decided to try me on further drugs and give them a bit of time first. I was discharged on 10 mg bisoprolol

A Cyroablation
Dr took me off
Cardizem
3 days prior. Told three months for scar tissue to firm and nerve endings to heal. Besides afib I had SVT , uncontrolled crazy heart rate. I have not had an afib since surgery and finally my SVT is gone.

Changing beta blocker
Hi there - my episodes of AF predominantly kick off at night when sleeping or at 9.30pm. I am not aware of it and can only tell from the Apple Watch readings as it is very clear when I’m in AF. I’m on 2.5mg of bisoprolol and 150 mg flecainide (100mg at night, 50mg in the day). I spoke with a different

Pitting Edema from heart failure?
Last week my cardiologist changed my heart med from
cardizem
to verapamil because he thought the edema might be caused by the
cardizem
. Does anyone have any info on this? Could the
cardizem
or heart failure be the culprit? Just looking for opinions, not diagnosis, as usual :) Thanks!

Feeling more positive
Hi I posted about 3 weeks ago really at the end of my tether, and wondering if I would be able to return to work again. Since then I have contacted the hospital and I have a telephone appointment with an EP at the end of Sept and then out of the blue I got a call from the cardiologist who suggested I

Changing from Atenolol to Adizem XL
Hi, I had WPW and had a successful ablation 15 years ago. When I had my daughter 13 years ago my bp was raised and I was prescribed 50mg of Atenolol per day which I've taken ever since. Recently my bp has gone up and I have been put on 120mg of Adizem XL and stopped the Atenolol. I've been on the

Leaking legs!
In November I was put on
Cardizem
, Xarelto and Aldactone. I now have severe pitting edema in both feet and legs. My doctor now suspects liver disease, which I have suspected for years. My concern right now is my 'leaking' legs. Really! My legs are leaking clear serum.
