Beta Blocker withdrawal?
Cardizem
was added about 6 months ago (which I am still taking). I recently lost 35lbs and the cardiologist felt it was best to stop the BB cold turkey. The first 2 days off BB I felt dizzy, anxious, and overall off. BP started to go up (118/70's) and HR in the 80's.

New AF episode. Shall I take Adizem?
Hi all, I would appreciate some opinions or things to consider at this moment. I haven’t had a persistent episode of AFib for 18months when I had first prolonged episode. At that time I was eventually put on Adizem which brought my fast heart beat down to 48-80 and seemed to allow my heart to re-regulate

Should I ask my PG for a referral to a cardiologist?
I have recently been informed that I have Left Bundle Branch Block 3, but not given any more info or follow-up! Apparently, a partial block was detected 10 years ago, which they didn't tell me about! It is now a category 3, and causes pain, palpitations, missing beats, and makes me feel dizzy as if I'm

Been doing good, then...
He didn't like how rapidly my heart was beating and doubled my
cardizem
dosage, plus put me on digoxin. The meds weren't ready until Thursday night, but Thursday morning I went to work - I work only part time - and suddenly my heart started to painfully beat very fast.

Adizem XL
Just been prescribed Adizel XL by Cardiologist to see if it works. Any thoughts, advice, experience? Cardiologists is back on a MVA thread after a few months exploring ongoing pain as neurological. Going forward for more MV tests, but the Dorset Cardio team is about to buy the equipment to do it locally

Sharing my experience
I've just replied to someone's post but thought I'd start my own aswell.. Been to A&E for my last 4 episodes, last one was Friday morning after a night shift, I don't know what the usual heart rate is but mine was 158bpm the 104bmp when they discharged me. I used to be in 2.5mg biosprol and 180mg Adizem

Heart Rate 58-60 -not feeling right...
I had been taking
Cardizem
180mg LA/daily then down to 90mg LA/daily then was told to hold the evening dose since I was in bradycardia. Awaiting a call back to find out what to do next. Anyone have had this happen and how was it handled? Thanks:)

CD 180mg once a day. I have a doctor's appointment and will certainly bring this up. Just wanted to know if anyone else has this too.

Newly diagnosed with AF and cant seem to get out of bed from exhaustion 😭
I was put on flenicain and 180mg of
cardizem
along with eliquis, I was wondering if these meds cause fatigue? I cannot function, I wake up more tired then when I went to bed and I feel like I cant breath.

Day 4 Post RF Ablation
I opted for a shot of morphine (to chill me out, help with the discomfort), some
cardizem
(flow my rate) and just to check in to the cardiofloor the night before The Dr ablated me while in afib, had to cardiovert me at the end of it but he felt confident everything went as planned.

They gave me
cardizem
drip AND metopropol at the same time and stopped my heart for 5 seconds each time and 5 times over.. Scared me as I watched the EKG trace and sank into oblivion!

ADIZEM
Good morning all, My GP has recommended that I switch from atenelol to adizem due to me feeling fatigued after a short time exercising. Is anybody out there taking adizem as I've not been able to find out much information about it? Thanks John
