weight to ratio of Levothyroxine
hi can you tell me how much Levothyroxine I should be on for my weight please as I have been told by a thyroid group I belong too that I’m on too low a dose and not optimal. I also have constant aches and pains. I weigh 95.80kg and at the moment I take 75mcg of Levothyroxine and 10mcg daily of Liothyronine

been suffering, flare up with antibiotics and steroids since beginning of December. In desperation I rang GP this morning to get form for a sputum test at hospital. Was told I have to speak with a doctor and couldn’t have that appointment until Thursday! Have now left a message with Consultant’s secretary

help with results
please could someone advise on my results. I’m currently taking 100 Levo and 5 lio. I’m taking a private prescription for the lio but am attempting an IFR with the NHS as I don’t think 5 is enough and it’s too expensive for me to buy. My weight continues to go up and I’m convinced it’s because my medication

Swallowing difficulty, have to chew meds.
About a year ago, I began getting my thyroid meds stuck in my throat. All my other meds, vits and minerals, being much larger, seem to go down ok, as they seem to have sufficient "weight" behind them. My magnesium capsule is the size of a suppository 🤣 and I can swallow that without a problem

Magnesium as ozonated magnesium oxides
Hello again. Slow Dragon said that there needs to be 4 hours after T4 or T3 before taking Magnesium. I take magnesium from ozonated magnesium oxides with 3% potassium before bed to help with any constipation that still lingers a little. I asked the company about their product and they said they don't

Thybon v Teva T3
I am changing over from Teva T3 to Thybon T3. I am taking 15 mcg divided into 3 daily doses. I am awaiting a Levo prescription to 'add in', as I have had to stop taking ThyroidS NDT due to 'toxicity' type symptoms. (I have other health issues going on at the moment). Not sure whether the Levo will be

Purchasing T3.
Hi everyone - hope everyone enjoying this sunny if windy day 😊. I posted my thyroid test results on yesterday and the replies came back stating I don't convert very well from FT4 to FT3, that has basically been the case for a long time. I recently had a conversation with GP who advised me my cholestrol

Hi. I’m thinking of going private to get treated for Hashimoto’s but I’m not sure whether to and if so who to go to. I was self medicating with T3 but was told that my heart attack in January was down to taking too much. I’ve since come off it and feel awful. I don’t know whether to go back to

advice please- protein shakes
I know we shouldn’t take other tablets or vitamins close to thyroxine, but is a meal replacement shake made from pea protein okay to drink an hour after thyroxine? is that different to vitamins as it’s food? Also, do we really have to avoid soya? I can’t have diary and most other protein shakes

When to take iron with T3 multi-dosing.
I'm writing this post again as I didn't get many replies and my private Dr hasn't replied. I'm trying to work out when to fit in taking iron (Three arrows) with my T3 doses. I am taking T3 as per my private Dr's schedule which is 3 times per day and 6-7 hours apart. I'm wondering whether to switch to
