Thybon v Teva T3

I am changing over from Teva T3 to Thybon T3. I am taking 15 mcg divided into 3 daily doses. I am awaiting a Levo prescription to 'add in', as I have had to stop taking ThyroidS NDT due to 'toxicity' type symptoms. (I have other health issues going on at the moment). Not sure whether the Levo will be different from the natural NDT T4, but I want to give it a go. I am finding Thybon stronger than Teva. I am getting the pounding heart, but pulse is not high. I may need to reduce the dose. Has anyone else experienced this?

Scazzoh, So you are currently just taking 15mcg T3, whereas you were previously taking an NDT that contains both T4 and T3, is this correct?

If so, I wonder if it's actually the ongoing lack of any T4 that could be causing your symptoms. Pounding heart is not categorically a symptom of over medication. It could be a sign of hormone imbalance.
