Consultant wants to see me
My head is now dong overtime as I have no symptoms and I’m sure as I’ve always had high cholesterol it’s a
calcium
issue as I can’t think why else he wants to see me . Surely it’s not to tell me I’m fine . Thoughts appreciated

Optimal testing regimen
I am at 3.7 up from 3.1 after recovering from a severe infection caused by radiation therapy; it was 4.1 before dx 8
Calcium
(at the border of the low of the reference range, and slightly down possibly because of zinc supplementation) 9 High-sensitive CRP.

Wildly fluctuating high and low blood pressure
I’m not sure why there are such significant ranges in my BP in spite of being on the
calcium
channel blocker and the Rampiril. My recent blood and urine tests were normal.

What I have learned from 1 year with Early Onset PD - "Glass Half Full"
•Supplements – lots of people advised lots of things and at the moment I am taking Magnesium, Vitamin B,C,D, Turmeric,
Calcium
•Mannitol – an industrial sugar – it has been recommended by many. Although not medically proven on humans there are those who say it works wonders.

My New Supplement List (I cut a bunch of players)
This has magnesium and
calcium
in it. 4: Curcumin with both meals. Make sure it is 95% curcuminoids. 5: 100 mg of selenium with 750 mg of Inositol because I have Hashimoto's and I read a study where they converted a bunch of people with sub-clinical HT to euro-thyroid using about this protocol.

Does an enlarged prostate alter your PSA
Due to being on xgeva I am watching the
calcium
which was low, 8.6 so I have been increasing with a supplement and dairy products. The
calcium
went to 8.7, up .1 the same as the PSA reading , is there a correlation in there , I am on arbitrone since the middle of last December of 2020.

Update on elbow
Calcium
levels are still well within normal limits so the bone isn’t breaking down to the point of it being released into his blood. He keeps fighting.. I’m so proud of him..

Sardines on Toast. Under the grill, or not?
I need to up my
calcium
intake, but haven't had sardines on toast since I was a child. I can't remember if you put the sardines on the toast, and then under the grill (like cheese), or if you eat them cold on the toast?

New Diagnosis & Feeling Overwhelmed
I've started
calcium
/vitamin D. Due to the severity of my osteoporosis combined with my age, I'm really worried about what the next few years of my life will look like. I know that I'm going to need to make some big changes, but don't even know where to start.

Getting bloods done privately
Calcium
and pth must be done together... So I refused the draw on the grounds it would be no good for a diagnosis .. I wonder if anyone on here knows if I could get pth and
calcium
done privately? I'm just about done with my surgery 😤 Many thanks ❤️
