calcium
how do people know that they have
calcium
that's required daily 1,200mgs,I don't eat dairy, I have alpro no sugars, and alpro yoghurt no sugars, you would have to stop in all day counting
calcium
, measuring yoghurt a bit messy wouldn't a
calcium
supplement be easier.

Calcium, Vitamin D, Bone mineral density,
I am reading that Cal & Vit D during ATD will also cause cardiovascular problems. I take 1500MG plus D daily. plus weight lifting & cardio. What to do?

My urine

Calcium D3 Supplements
Are any of you diagnosed with Osteoporosis taking supplements,
Calcium
, D3, K, etc. even though blood tests show normal range? I have been advised it is not necessary to take supplements if blood tests normal. Too much
Calcium
may increase risk of other health issues.

Fosteum Plus
It has 500mg of
calcium
with vitamin K and other important ingredients. Anyone taking it? You don’t hear much mentioned about it even though it’s been around several years.

Advice re calcium, K2 and vit D
Blood tests show normal levels of
calcium
, should I now take extra given the pred.? Also how much Vit D and K vit, reading through I have managed to get confused. Today decided not to take AA until I have a dexa scan, which many on here have advised.

Lithium induced Hypercalcemia
I have Hypercalcemia after taking Lithium for 36 years, I have been off Lithium for seven months now but my
Calcium
level is being controlled by Cinacalcet x 4 90mg tablets a day while waiting to have my Parathyroid glands removed and am in a constant agitated state.

Calcium and D3 supplementation decreases cancer risk and increases CVD risk
Unfortunately it is not quite clear (to me) whether it is the combination or the
calcium
by itself that has these consequences and what role the D3 plays in either increasing or moderating, if any.

Alendronic Acid
About 7 months ago I was given vitamin d and
calcium
tablets which I am fine with. I was also given Alendronic acid which makes me feel very lethargic for a couple of days after taking. Has anyone else experienced this. I’m virtually at the point of deciding not to take this anymore.

Blood test results
Pathology investigation report on the blood test suggests undertreatment/ malabsorption/ lack of adherence to treatment/
calcium
or iron supplements or coeliac disease. I have been taking as instructed and don't take any supplements. Would the next logical increase be to 50mcg? Thanks

Despite a similar coronary plaque burden, bypassed native coronary arteries had 3-times higher CMA values and greater progression of one-year
calcium
scores compared to those who that had not undergone CABG.

Is there and alternative beta blocker that does not affect memory or would
calcium
channel blockers be better and what’s the side affects with those. I’ve posted a few times and no one has answered, I would be very grateful if some advice could be thrown my way please.
