FND Misdiagnosis
I have since discovered that my seizures are controlled by
calcium
(unknown reasons for
calcium
deficiency at present) and I was severely under treated for B12 deficiency, vitamin d deficiency etc.

Best podcast and book resources I've found
In this book, in Chapter 2, he has a section on thiazides, and what to do instead if a doctor recommended a thiazide for excess
calcium
excretion.

Urine Calcium Test tips?
As my GP has me down as a hypochondriac malingerer I need some evidence to force testing of
calcium
properly. I can’t afford a £150 6 hour round trip London clinic test so some internet research led me to a £25 set of 10 dipsticks.

Bone Density - Dexa
I do not take
calcium
. Or perhaps the cause is E2<12 pg/mL. I have that covered too. But doctors persist in prescribing harmful Bisphosphonates & Denosumab (Prolia / Xgeva). (Given that my results were all "normal", I don't know what significance I should place on the T- & Z-scores.) -Patrick

Can a new drug mimic the effects of exercise on bone and muscle?
LAMZ exerts its effects through PGC-1α by increasing intracellular
calcium
in myocytes and osteoblasts. Similarly, the mechanical stimulus of exercise also leads to cellular
calcium
influx, which is why LAMZ has exercise-mimicking effects.

Worried I might have lung cancer
I had a blood test which showed my
calcium
levels were a little high so I was sent for another one and get the results in a couple of days. I had an ecg which was fine. I had an xray and the doctor said the only way she could describe it was that my lungs look dirty.

osteopenia worse, im on enoxaparin/ lovenox any thoughts on vitk2?
I had repeat dexascan says my hips are getting worse, anyone on enoxaparin/lovenox taking vit k2 for “
calcium
to bone absorption”? Docs are talking about fosamex, etc, but I would rather do vitamins if possible.

If you have been diagnosed with PV, can I ask you...
And lately, high
calcium
in blood tests. The kidney function (creatinine nd BUN are ok). My questions are, does anybody has discovered microalbuminum and /or high (10.7)
calcium
without it being a problem with the parathyroid, but somehow related to PV? I am grateful for any input...

Angiogram results
Hi all, i eventually got my angiogram results back with a
calcium
score of 0 which I take as good news. But I did mention something else which I don't know the meaning of so I'm wondering if anyone knows what this means in layman's terms.
