Hi all, i eventually got my angiogram results back with a calcium score of 0 which I take as good news. But I did mention something else which I don't know the meaning of so I'm wondering if anyone knows what this means in layman's terms.(Anomalous origin of the left circumflex arising from the right coronary artery with a retro aortic course.)
Thanks.

We expect humans to follow a fairly standard anatomical layout, but the plumbing of human hearts shows remarkable variation from one person to another.
It's as if some people have arms coming from their necks, yet other people may have a left arm coming from a shoulder and their right arm coming from their waist. The way the heart's arteries are laid out really is all over the place, indeed it's not uncommon for some people to even have an entire extra main heart artery!
Your angiogram has picked up that your heart isn't plumbed in an absolutely conventional fashion. It's nothing to be concerned about, there's no correlation with heart disease for example, but it's always included in the notes so that a surgeon would know what to expect if surgery were ever to be required.
Thanks for clearing that up and I wouldn't be surprised to be honest. I was borne 8 wks premature weighing in just under 2lbs so maybe the technology wasn't that advanced to pick these things up back then . I'm now 51, generally been fit and active with no health problems apart from the usual getting older aches and pains like everyone else until 3 years ago when the investigations started to find out why i was getting breathless etc fingers crossed I will know more in the coming months. Thanks again
Its all starting to become a bit clearer now thanks to you and Chappychaps reply hence why this forum is so informative. Yes my calcium score of 0 is great news but it looks like my plumbing has been fitted by a 16 yr old plumber on a yts.😂....showing my age now. Not sure if this adds to the reason why I have mild lvh, leaking mitral valve, bradycardia/tachycardia and PVCs etc but as you mentioned if a pacemaker was to be fitted this would need to be taken note of which they are considering too depending on test results from my loop recorder. So far this week I've had good and bad days with a run of PVCs every day this week even noted AF too feeling tired with slow and fast hr.
