Supplements still necessary?
Good morning allI have run out of my methylfolate supplements I have been on B12 injections for a few years now and been taking supplements too. Just wanted to know if its necessary to keep taking the supplements, it just gets so expensive with the cost of living. I take B1,B2 & methylfolate. Any advice

Reversing out worse than actual symptoms
I am 32 years old and had B12 deficiency. B12 was <83 pg/ml (normal 180-914) as the lab could not test below this value and Vitamin D was 16 ng/ml (normal 30-100). I had multiple symptoms, some are mentioned below 1. Vertigo 2. Consistent dizziness (feeling like sitting on a boat all the time) 3.

Turmeric and a Flare and Drama + Thoughts
Turmeric and so on….. Flare up … Drama Hello everyone…. I have had some success (I think - quite strongly) with varying Turmeric shots and soluble lozenges . Some are way too expensive but I found some on Amazon that were really inexpensive and had a delivery of a few shots of Turmeric from Tesco

Swollen tongue and teeth impressions on tongue
I am suffering with a very sore swollen tongue and I'm sure ages ago there was a post about this but I can't find it. Am I right in thinking that B12 may be the issue or increase in meds to rectify this? I am currently on Erfa one and quarter grains 6am and half grain 3pm and alternate days one and half

graves journey update
Thought I’d follow up post endocrinology appointment. New blood tests came back FT4 11.5 (range 11-22) TSH > 0.01 So whilst my FT4 is making great strides in reduction and the 20mg carbimazole is working, TSH still needs to wake up. All hyperthyroid symptoms have gone. Feel the least anxious I

supplements with essential thrombocyethemia
Hi I am back in hydroxi after suspected added issues to thyroid being on pegulated interferon for a number of years. Just wondered what supplementation anyone would recommend for our conditions - having a terrible time health wise and had burning leg and weakness issues - I had a car accident in February

New to PA and need info and support
Hi, for nearly 10 years I have been returning blood tests with low b12 levels, recently these have been 140 / 155 / 170 and 2 weeks ago 165. I continued to advise GP that there was an issue. In 2018 I had 6 loading doses but no follow up treatments. Throughout 2023 I reported tiredness and more concerningly

Blood test results in full. Can anyone find a cause in there for my continued fatigue etc?
I still have the same symptoms, although some have improved a bit, but not gone, by any means. Still housebound. I list below Blood test results. Can anyone suggest an issue that may cause my symptoms because my GP says no action, normal. Serum 25 - HO Vit D3 level 135nmol/L 50-174

One more question about folate
If the body, due to methylation problems, cannot process regular folate, but can process methyl folate, does the non- methylated folate build up in one's system? Thanks again! Nancy

Folder levels high
Hi all! It's been awhile since I posted anything. I've been doing about 5 injections of methylcobalamin a week, for several years now. I take a food based multi with 800 mcg of folate, pretty much just on the days I inject. My naturopath doctor prescribed methyl folate. I took a1000mcg dose and
