All regular use sublingual opioid medications etc how to protect your teeth.
REGULAR use of sublingual medications, from opioids to Valium etc I break mine into tiny pin head size pieces with a pill cutter. I know 200 mcg Temgesic or 2 mg of Buprenorphine looks very small, however I have followed this process for over 3 years now. - Reasons - Absorption in seconds - Better

hello , I’m new to this forum after a 5 year ‘ battle ‘ with AF ( history is on my home page ) Wish I’d found it before as already finding the posts helpful . So , my question is regarding magnesium supplements and what is safe to take with dronedarone and 2.5 mgs bisoprolol . I’ve seen a few posts

low ferritin high transferrin saturation
I am aware my ferritin is in the lower range and has been going downwards. However when I had full iron panel in August my transferrin saturation was just out of range in the upper level. I have read that one thing that can factor this is dehydration so I am trying to up my water intake. But does

Advice before talking to Dr
Hello all, I realise it is Sunday evening but I am seeing the dr in the morning and was hoping for advice on what to say. I spoke to the dr about ongoing symptoms of lack of energy and flu like body aches. She wanted me to have a range of blood tests before choosing a path. All blood tests have come

Magnesium dosing - less is more?
There have been tons of good posts on this subject over which versions to use, how much to dose and whether tablet or oil or bath salts etc. My minor point to add is that I have kept going over the last couple of years with magnesium glycinate and found it consistently brilliant - but as time has gone

Found this in Waitrose (Bit pricey!) Lovely creamy Oat Kefir. Dairy, soya and gluten free... Edit ** Found a recipe they use milk grains**
£3!! and rather annoyingly really nice... heck I'm worth it! I only went in for a sneaky sushi treat 😏 Edit... actually cheaper in Waitrose as they sell the 500g where as the other only sell 250g £1.85 Oat Base (Water, Gluten-Free Oats (11%), Sunflower Oil, Salt), Coconut Cream, Stabilisers (Tapioca

Scared about lung nodules
Hi, I recently had a cardiac calcium score test and that was fine but they incidentally found three nodules. The largest one was 7.8 mm and. I was never a smoker but I'm terrified about what this means. Ive never had any lung issues but had covid a little over a month ago. I've yet to speak with my

Hi, what is the best way to get nutrient levels tested please (avoiding gp route) My daughter feels awful on 100 levo, the endo has said to do 100 and 75 levo on alternate days, her free t4 is 23.8 and she has suppressed tsh of <0.01. prior to this when she was on 75 levo her t4 was 10 and tsh 2.9.

Update on Root Canal
It's done. It was fairly quick but a bit emotional. Steroids I suspect but the needle going into the front near my nose.......WOW even after I had some happy gas, it was still pretty awful. I was shaking and I felt like my heart was pounding 90 miles an hour! It also brought up a few memories of my childhood

Pain Management
Hi All, My husband's pain seems to be out of control. He says he hurts everywhere all the time, but mostly his whole right side, from his shoulder, arm, wrist all the way to his toes. He uses magnesium and heat, a tens machine as well as massage, CBD and acupuncture. But nothing really helps or lasts

Iron & Magnesium
Would appreciate guidance about how and when to take iron and magnesium supplements. I take Gabapentin every night and want to ensure that I don’t do anything to interfere with its effectiveness. Any suggestions about optimal dosages for the iron and magnesium would also be helpful. Thank you.

Valium alternatives
So while in hospital for my barrage of tests etc I was taking high doses of slow K and slow Mag morning and night (magnesium and potassium) and Thiamine (high dose in the morning) and Valium in the morning and at night. The supplements I’ll get a clearer picture of from my nephrologist that originally

Here We Go Again?
As I write this my heart feels heavy accompanied by a dull ache and a small 'buzz' every so often. If it follows its normal progression it will start to feel squeezed during the next 24 hours & as though it has over done it at the gym and now feeling sore. This combination has seen me in A&E over 5
