There’s a lot of reading matter online about the claimed benefits of taking k2 to keep calcium from arteries and transporting it to bones where it should be.
Does anyone have any info on any possible negative effects of k2 on heart patients on statins? otherwise it would seem like a no brainier to add it to our pill cocktail.
Thanks

If you do add K2 (MK7)to your roster of supplements for arterial health, then make sure you take it with Vit D3 and some omega 3 fats at the same time... the D3 pushes the liberated calcium into the bones, where it belongs, and as D3 is fat soluble, a bit of fat helps with absorption.
Another supplement to consider is Nattokinase to help break up the fibrins in the arteries that can be problem spots for further constriction... The Japanese fermented bean dish called Natto is very good food to supply K2 & Nattokinase for cheap, compared to the cost of some supplements in isolation.
BTW, Vitamin K1 is different, and is the one involved in the blood clotting process... K2is the calcium controlling one...
