Adcal-D3
Just a quick query. Has anyone else suffered from nausea when taking Adcal-D3 chewable? I was wondering if the tablets contain lactose, as I'm allergic to it. Since having been diagnosed with a fractured L2 and osteoporosis, the RA team and my GP both recommend them. I was taking Solgar Calcium Citrate

calcium scoring
Anyone know the meaning of calcium scores? I had a CT angiogram scan yesterday and was told that my calcium score is 0. I haven’t had the official report and the only reason I was told is because they did the scan in 2 parts as my heart rate was higher than required for the scan. I did ask if that

My response to WinnieThePoo.

Multi vitamins minus calcium and vitamin D
Saw Rheumy nurse yesterday. Still waiting to start Etanercept jab. But she said I should get multivitamins but minus vitamin D and Calcium as I'm already on calcichew D3 twice a day. Looked on line but cannot find any without these. Has anyone multi vitamins without calcium and vitamin D3?

GP disagrees with diagnosis of osteoporosis
I had a Dexa scan 2 weeks ago and the lady who did the scan told me I had osteoporosis and gave me a leaflet about it and an information sheet about Alendronic acid. She said GP would contact me when he got the results to start me on AA. Last week I got a text from GP saying “your bone thickness is

Endo appointment, T3 results at last and hyperparathyroidism possible
Thanks for your replies to my previous post and also the advice that I should investigate hyperparathyroidism. I saw the endocrinologist today and apparently my July '23 results (which I hadn't been told, and certainly they'd never mentioned they'd do T3) were: TSH: 0.02 (0.27-4.2) T4: 20.5 (12-

Zolendronic Acid Infusions
I know this treatment is for osteoporosis and not PMR but I’ve been offered this treatment as I’m over 65 and I’m on the cusp of being osteopenic and my bone fracture score is now just above 10.. Recently my rheumy said that the results of my dexascan were some of the best he had seen for someone on

Hi all, I am reaching out to see amy tips you may have for relief? Currently lasts 24 hours a day, worst is at night but never goes away. Its very distressing and I cried again today as am just so exhausted. Have seen a urogynacologist and am now trialling HRT patches (hysterectomy in 2018) plus estrogen

Constipation
Hi helpful community. I am on 40 mg or prednisone for CGA, tapering down to 35 in 2 days for 2 weeks. I am suffering from constipation. Is it due to the prednisone or the Calcium supplements (600 mg x 2 per day)? I take Miralax (Restorolax) every couple of days. then I take mineral oil for couple
