Any new drug treatments I can ask the doctor about? Running low on options
Caelyx
isn't really an option for my mum as the doctor said it is more slow acting due to being liposomal, and my mums cancer is too rapidly dividing for it. On the upside, my mum responds very well to new chemo as the faster the cells divide, the more susceptible they are to the chemo!

recurrence with caelyx
I decided to go in and have a knee replacement as this was booked in before I had cancer, I was concern that the 125 was going up as I had to wait 8 weeks before I could handle cemo, after the knee. 125c back up to 250 back on cemo this time
caelyx
as I'm now platinum resistant.

Caelyx and hand/foot syndrome
I've read that it takes a while to come down on
caelyx
so I was pleased that it has started to fall as it went up between 1 and 2.

Advice please on any preparation to diminish side effects from Carbo/
Caelyx
combination. I believe ice packs on hands and feet can be helpful? Does anyone have any tips and / or experience of these drugs please. Thank you x

pain with Caelyx
I find it hard to believe this is just caused by
Caelyx
. I'm due for my 5th treatment but the pain is not subsiding. Has anyone else experienced this? V

Shingles!
Hi all, so I two weeks ago I had my first lot of carbo /
Caelyx
for first reoccurrence felt rough for 10 days but really struggled with a rash that appeared across my side and left boob, put it down to a chemo reaction as all the literature I was given talked about skin changes.

Caelyx next
Having reacted to carboplatin and having had 6 rounds of cisplatin, I am to start
caelyx
next week. So any experience or advice would be useful. I did read up on it a while ago and it seems that some women sail through with few effects while some have severe side effects.

Hitting a new low
She is suggesting Carboplatin and
Caelyx
to start whenever I "feel like it". I don't understand. I feel so well with no symptoms. I want to howl and howl and howl. I've done everything I can over the last 2 years to put the cancer behind me and here we are again.

New to site
Told last week that OC has returned and going to be put on Avastin when I recover from surgery and
caelyx
(liposomal). Finished 8 sessions of carbo/taxol last year. Anything I should watch out for? Worried... Sorry Kittie you are not well but you sound like you know how to turn it around.

first recurrence - experiences?
I sort of expected this, and I know that this means she will probably have to have
Caelyx
, Taxol or gemcitabine. I guess I'm just on here because I want to hear that it's not unusual for recurrence to be so fast, and I also want to know how effective the second line of treatment can be.

3rd bash at controlling OC
It was then I was told that I only have months now but they are forging ahead with another lot of chemo,
Caelyx
, which in my case I like to call last chance saloon. Had my first one yesterday. Don't get me wrong, I'm not about gloom doom and despondency .

Update
Scans show that I am unsuitable for any further surgery as I already have a stoma in place ( even though the blockages are unfortunately higher than the stoma) so I'm hoping that I can get through this trauma and resume my chemo (4th line)
