Natural vs medicated FET
During our fresh transfer, I used
buserelin
trigger and then had a very short luteal phase despite progesterone and estrodiol which meant I bled after 4 days and our top grade embryo didn’t even get a chance to implant.

Busereline shortage
Hello, Does anyone know where I can get Busereline? None of the pharmacies have it in stock and their suppliers don’t have it either. I will be starting stims in 11 days and we were hoping to use it alongside the trigger injection. Thanks Sam

How much would 7 days of buserelin roughly cost?
Hello, I am potentially going to need to add
Buserelin
into my next cycle to keep me down regulated. It wasn't planned because my ERA is having to be repeated because there was too much tissue and not enough medium in the sample so the tissue wasn't testable when it got to the clinic...

Low Egg Retrieval
They told me to take 1 Ovitrelle and not to take
Buserelin
I questioned it and they told its one or the other. I follwed their advice. 4 eggs were retrieved this morning. I do not want to be ungrateful for my 4 wonderful eggs. But we are crushed.

Missed day 21 Buserelin shot & 3 month start question.
Hello, I have 2 questions that I would really welcome advice on… 1) I was meant to start my
Buserelin
shots last night as it was day 21 on the long protocol. However I came away without it. I’m wondering if it’s ok to start on day 22? Any experience with this?

agonist versus antagonist issue
Switching to Degarelix or maybe the oral version after 5 months of monthly goserelin implant ? With the evidence on cardio and other risks reduced with using an antagonist such as degarelix or relugolix what’s the view on the benefits of doing this when having already started in the RT plus goserelin

Confused! Down regulation with Gonapeptyl
Due to the
buserelin
shortage I’ve been given a one off injection to down regulate me for a FET. Those using Gonapeptyl/ Prostrap/ Decapeptyl, how many days after the injection was/is your baseline scan? Xx

Buserelin Trigger
I triggered with
Buserelin
due to being at risk for OHSS and I have read that this can lead to a short luteal phase which is why they prescribe progesterone (2 x 400mg) and estrogen (6mg) daily. I just can’t help feeling that I have had a short luteal phase despite being on those doses of meds.

period after prostap injection
hi all Have any of you had the Prostap injection instead of
Buserelin
and found your period was delayed afterwards? If so, how delayed was it?

Buserelin / Suprecur Trigger - Out of Stock!
I am mid-way through a cycle and have just tried to collect
Buserelin
(Suprecur) which I use it as one of my trigger drugs. I've tried 6 pharmacies and nowhere has it in stock as I'm told there is a national shortage! :( Has anyone who uses it as a trigger been offered an alternative?

Finally…!
Nafarelin instead of
buserelin
injections as planned due to the shortage. Hoping this isn’t going to make much difference other than a positive one in the sense I don’t have to be jabbing myself with needles quite as much.! Just feeling super apprehensive now about tomorrow.

Disposing of empty IVF meds and vials
After 6 attempts, including a cancelled round, I’ve got 18 boxes of used Lubion vials and 7 gonal-f pens, empty
buserelin
vials, etc etc 🙈. What do people do with it all? I also have lots of unused and unopened needles and syringes. Can these be donated?

When to expect period after FET?
I had a period after starting the
Buserelin
for my FET then did all the meds etc for a FET. We unfortunately had a failed thaw so cycle was cancelled. Stopped progesterone and had a period a few days later. Do I count this as my period? As the nurse called it a withdrawal bleed.

Period after stopping mid cycle
I had been taking
Buserelin
for 3ish weeks and started the stimulation med for 2 days then had to stop as I got Covid. I’ve been waiting for my period to start the next cycle but it is coming up to 4 weeks and still no sign.

No Buserelin. Decapeptyl?
Due to the national shortage of
Buserelin
I have been offered a one off Decapeptyl injection instead. Has the
Buserelin
shortage affected you and what has your clinic suggested? Does anyone know anything about or have experience with Decapeptyl?

Fluid or polyp on womb - what if it doesn't clear up?
They've decided to keep me on
buserelin
for another week and come in for another scan to see if it's cleared up. I should have asked what happens if it doesn't clear up.... has anyone had anything similar? Would my cycle be cancelled?

Wrong dose!
So today is my first day of Gonal F and
Buserelin
. I’ve been taking
Buserelin
for the last 2 weeks and today I was meant to half my dose of
Buserelin
as well as take Gonal F. I’ve done the Gonal F injection but gave myself the full dose of
Buserelin
instead of half!!
