probiotics
I now have Type 2 diabetes and started low dose ozempic 4th shot completed and already lost the weight except 40 more pounds . I’m on ibrance 100 and doing well. I would like to start a probiotic. I don’t see an endocrinologist until May 8th. Any suggestions?

CA27-29 numbers and Covid
Has anyone experienced their CA 27-29 numbers going up due to their having Covid or another of the nasty viruses going around these days? I’ve been sick the past two months. Home test was negative for Covid but we seem to have some viruses that are every bit as bad and my tumor markers crept up to 49

Has anyone had Enhurtu and bisphosphonates treatment? I am classified HR+/HER2- (her2 +1) what side effects have you experienced? Going to be switching in a couple months from Ibrance and hormone/ovarian suppression shots to the treatment listed above. On paper it all looks scary. This will be my 2nd

A-fib free since ablation 18 months ago but now suggesting Apixaban
I have found this forum so useful since having my first paroxsymal a-fib occurrence two years ago at age 63. I had several occurrences of a-fib with fast heart rate of 110-150 bpm. Fortunately these all self-corrected to NSR within 1-4 hours. I am fit and not overweight and the a-fib usually happened

piqray
I was on Piqray and Fulvestrant for two years with MBC with the Piq mutation. A large percentage of us have it, but not all doctors test. I took it after Ibrance and everolimus/exemestane quit working. I wonder why Piqray isn’t included on the drop down list of treatments on this site. I’ve now

Atrial Tachycardia ablation
Has anyone here had an ablation for atrial tachycardia after they’ve had afib ablations? I’m curious to know if that ablation was any different than your afib ablation? I’ve had 3 afib ablations and it seems they’ve resolved the afib and flutter (knock on wood). But they’ve left me with more regular

How can I manage persistent AF
I am in UK and have had paroxysmal AF for a few years and was prescribed Flecainide and Bisoprolol but also had a Pacemaker fitted in July 2020 because of a low resting heart rate (normally 50 but loop recorder showed some drop to mid 30s overnight). Any periods of AF I’ve had up to now have been 5/

Change from Apaxiban to Edoxaban?
Surgery rang this Saturday(!) afternoon. Asked whether I would agree to switch from to Edoxaban. Over 4 years I have not had any side effects from Apixaban nor have tests revealed any problems. Has anyone made this switch? Also, the nurse said the advantage was that I would only take one pill, instead

New Study released Re: five on/two off Ibrance dosing
I believe this is the completion of the 2nd trial for the alternative dosing (5 on/2 off) of ibrance, just released TODAY! Someone who knows how to read these things, please tell me what I did wrong that I couldn't find their "conclusion" or "recommendation" after completing the study. Thanks for

shoulder pain PMR or costocondritis?
I recently ranted about having to jump the queue to get a suprascapular nerve block (avoiding a 12 month waiting list ) rather than reverse shoulder surgery which is a massive procedure in comparison . I’m scheduled to go on Monday costing £5k so far which is annoying in itself but Crohn’s and reflux
