UPDATE: Saw onc on 3/7 and my ibrance being reduced to 100 mg. starting next cycle due to crazy high blood pressure and cough. When I took it 2 years or so ago for 4 or 5 cycles, I had chest pains and stopped taking it, I got scared. Now, I'm happy to reduce the dose when it starts messing with my heart/lungs/blood pressure. Just sharing my experience! Love and prayers to all of you <3 PS haven't seen the movie yet, have a friend coming in for my birthday and will see it then!

Onc appt. on Thursday, hope it's good news coz even though I feel great, my CA levels haven't come down from the 300's! Btw, Going to get to see this for my birthday! Below is the trailer for "The Jesus Revolution"! <3

Well glorious Happy Birthday to you!! I've watched the trailer now 2 times and have not been sure whether I wanted to see it or not. You know I am a born again, baptized Christian. The movie does look very entertaining and of course we love it when the Christians win, because in today's world we are the minority! I'm studying the Bible like never before and had a one to one session with our retiring Pastor yesterday,(I thought to pray over me) well we end in up in a very interesting long discussion about my science based background as that was his as well. Yet he ended up a Pastor with a Phd in counseling and me an RN with a BSN ended up first caring for the sick then teaching others how to do the same and rose to a position in a large medical center on a special project reporting directly to the VP of Nursing Services. Then came some really difficult times for me and my husband, a child with a fatal disease, me with a mental Health disorder and now MBC. Yet, I believe that Jesus Christ IS the son of God, he walked this Earth he knows our suffering upclose and personal and I believe one day all the mystery will be revealed and we won't even care about the questions can begin with "why Lord". Thank you for posting!🙌

You know, I have just started a one year through the bible reading that I get from Our Daily Bread and I have to tell you, that old testament is ROUGH! I now totally understand what Jesus meant when He said, 'there is none righteous, no not one'. I am glad I am finally reading the OT because after salvation, I read through the New Testament one time and then hit and miss for years after that. But one thing stood out, after reading the NT just once, let someone preach something that isn't in there and I would know that it "didn't pass the sniff test" and go look it up. Sure enough, it would be wrong. only happened a handful of times but made me think of the scripture that says 'Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I don't offend Thee', or something real close to that. Point being, I have always had such a lousy memory that to me this was miraculous. Life is hard. I retired from the criminal justice system, only to be diagnosed with BC a few months after.

Me and hubby have been through the wringer too, but to always have HOPE, that is a gift of Jesus that is absolutely wonderful! We can always have hope, and when our time comes, we know it is OUR time, because Father won't take us one day before .... even then we're escorted out like royalty by His angels and taken to a mansion! It sounds so surreal and yet, Jesus made a point of saying that if it wasn't true, He would have told us! Anyway, there I go again! Here lately Jesus seems to be the only good there is to talk about, I'm in love, no doubt! love and hope to you and family! God bless you and heal us all in Jesus name, amen! <3

Happy happy birthday and best of luck at your appointment! I too am looking forward to seeing this. I read where it has surpassed box office expectations. Also, I am doing "Catechism in a Day" through the Spotify app. I am thoroughly enjoying it. My next one will be the Bible in a Year. Keeping the faith is so important to me on this journey! Enjoy your day! Hugs!!!

amen! appointment moved to March 7th! Yes, I really feel closer to God since I started reading my bible everyday. I can be so thick-headed, the bible says, "draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you", so I've heard it said recently that by reading your bible everyday, you're trying to get closer and it's true! Spoiler alert: I may have already said all this somewhere else because yesterday is gone and I've slept since then! Thinking of my sweet mama whom I miss so much who used to say, "I'm like a goose, I wake up in a new world everyday"! Mama died with dementia at home; of all she forgot JESUS, was never one of them and she loved Him so much until the end/BEGINNING! <3 On another note, The Daily Bread shows you which scriptures to read everyday to get through the bible in a year. My biggest surprise was the old testament and how much I'm learning, it makes me so appreciate what Jesus has done for me and makes me totally understand what Jesus said when He said, "there is none good, no not one"! God bless you and heal us all in Jesus name, amen! that is my short prayer, please feel free to use it anytime if you like it <3
